Same way the KA-50 was done. I guess. Honestly I hoped the KA-50 and SU-25T would be the only "not 100% accurate" modules in DCS 1

This was my initial thought as well. 2 minutes ago, bfr said: I'd actually be quite up for that. I'm ancient enough to have played the old Microprose F-19 and F-117 games and it was a lot of fun having to rely on being a sneaky sod when (in the F-117 title especially) you usually had zero capability of fighting back or even making a run for it if you got spotted. F-19 would be dope! 2

The motion, the lights, the crisp details... Sometimes I genuinely tought it's real world footage it's so good. Hats off ED. We're eagerly waiting for the newsletter. Would be great... BUT... I think we've heard in the past that some of the high quality images and effects in these videos are the result of creative license post-processing. So, I'm assuming that's the case and will hopefully be pleasantly surprised in the "beyond". 1
MAXsenna Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Hmmm... Quite a few Iranian Phantoms... Did they listen? Eastern expansion.I do agree with what was said before. The first half of the video is dedicated to ground war. Gives me CNN vibes from Desert Storm. Love the running infantry. So, we can safely assume Dynamic Campaign Engine is well on track.Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 5

It does say at the end of video "Colour correction, sound FX, and visual enhancements have been used for cinematic effect" I'd love to know how they make these, not a jaggy edge or artifact in sight. I've got a got a pretty decent rig, but in-game never quite matches the quality of their videos. Edited January 16 by jonsky7 3

Fairey Gannet Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) I am not sure about this one, honestly. That mix of features presented felt a bit haphazard, and the video as a whole not very... convincing. I like some new things I saw, but others were present in the "2024 And Beyond" already. And some future developement plans makes me wonder what shape has been envisioned for the sim in the coming year(s). Maybe I am bit grumpy, since at the moment future of some of my modules is uncertain, some have to be reverted after upgrade and upcoming ones are... I am not sure what to think about them, really. I am looking forward to see Germany and F-100, that is for sure. Dynamic campaign and destructible buildings will be a lot of fun. I hope I am just cranky, and it affects my judgement at the moment. Kappa-131st Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Eurofighter, F-35 ? Is DCS a sim or warthunder...? It's impossible to make full fidelity system. They are classified. ED is going to make a "what if" modules... 8 3

I hear you. Yes, it'd be better in many ways if they limited these videos to things that actually had a cat in hell's chance of appearing (or at least getting very close to doing so) this calendar year. 2 minutes ago, Kappa-131st said: Eurofighter, F-35 ? danythunder14 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I'm a little disappointed that we don't get more footage of the Hellcat, which is one of the modules I'm most hype about in the 2024 video. 5 Wishlist : SBD Dauntless, F9F Panther, F6F Hellcat, TBF Avenger, USS Enterprise CV-6

DD_fruitbat Posted January 17 Posted January 17 My god, so many whingers in here. Really looking forward to the F-15C, both that and Fat Amy really were a surprise, didn't see either coming, especially the latter. 9
