Hey ED! It would be great to see the following A/C added to the sim as full fidelity, flyable, aircraft! Thank you for your consideration in advance!

- C-47 Skytrain : Normandy Invasion

- B-24 Liberator

- B-25 Mitchell : this might be "easier" to do with only 2x engines to see if it will generate interest for the rest of the multi engine bombers/cargo A/C

- B-29 Superfortress : Enola Gay

- KC-135 Stratotanker

- KC-10 Extender

- B-52 Stratofortress

- C-17 Globemaster III

- C-5 Galaxy

- C-2 Greyhound : cargo version

- S-3B Viking

- UH-60 Blackhawk / MH-60 Seahawk

- CH-53 Sea Stallion / MH-53 Pave Low / CH-53E Super Stallion

- MD 500 Defender

- AH-1 Cobra / AH-1Z Viper

- SR-71 Blackbird

- F-117 Nighthawk

- V-22 Osprey / CMV-22B Osprey

- SDB Dauntless

- T-6 Texan II : Trainer

- T-45C Goshawk : Trainer

- P-8A Poseidon : Anti submarine

- T-1 Jayhawk : Trainer

Before anyone jumps on me and says "there are already mods out there for some of these"... I don't do any mods, ever, for my own reasons. These would be an instant buy for me *when* they come out. I do realize that some aircraft would be an OPSEC nightmare like the SR-71, but a guy can dream, right? Thank you again for all that you do. Love the sim and the modules. Excited to see you guys continue to grow!

Edit: I forgot the B-1 Lancer!!

I don't drink pop, but a strawberry milkshake would do. Did I post this in the wrong place? Thought this section was specifically for wish list items or are we not supposed to do that anymore? Why are you raining on my parade?

Secret? Don't be so negative about everything - keep dreaming BIG! Negativity ages you faster than anything and is completely unproductive to growth.

It's that easy, huh? Cool, no worries! No negativity here! I've just tought myself to curb my enthusiasm for more realistic dreams. Those dreams were usually pretty big though!

Edit: I do love your list though.

Didn't really mean to be mean or anything, I just don't see a point of wishlisting already talked about for years modules. I just don't see much sense in naming some of the most wanted aircraft here, like ED or another 3rd party will look and be like "Damn, how didn't we think of making SR-71, it would be a bestseller!". So yeah, I couldn't react to such post with all seriousness.

One of my top WWII lists. I'd love to have both a hardnosed and softnose I'd love the option for the 75MM on the hardnosed. I also want the A-26 too

The AH-1 and UH-1 are both examples of aircraft which I think we really need multiple variants to do justice. There are basically 3 generations of the XH-1s. The UH-1H we have is the last of what I'd call a Classic Vietnam era Huey. Next we have the Twin Huey / Super Cobera then finally the modern Venom/Viper.  I'd want an early 1970s version that would work for Vietnam and carry tow missiles. The only way I'd like a Viper would be if we got a Venom and had two matching sets. Heck toss in the Super Cobra and Twin Huey too. (I'm not sure what variations but I'd like something that has avionics in between the classic and modern especially one that would work for Desert Storm)

I'd love to see the F-105D and if possible the F-105G I know we'd need to have a EW overhaul though for that to be flyable. At least I want them AI.

On the Red For I want the MiG-23, MiG-27, Fitter, if there is any cold war version of the Fencer that could work that would be welcome. Also I want a replacement for the MiG-19 if the Razbam situation can't be solved.

The Super Entendard and Buckaneer are up on my list of Western European aircraft.

I also want more Korean era aircraft right now we have the F-86, F-51, F4U and MiG-15 as well as the A1D in the works. I'd like the F2H or F9F for the USN line up. IL-2/10. I've said it before we really need a East Front asset pack that starts initially focuses on things that served with both the I-16 and Mig-15

A bit mean of you to seemingly not allow them to have a little vacation ever.

Man, you guys have gotten so used to being disappointed, skeptical, and negative... do any of you even remember what genuine excitement feels like anymore? Don't crush other people's creativity just because you've lost yours.

This is the wishlist section of the Forum, so your post is perfectly valid … just don’t expect excitement from other users, as we all have very different wishes. On my own case, I spend my creativity and free time on mission making and learning as many aircraft as I can, and instead of wishing for new modules I prefer to be surprised whenever a new module is released, I’m right now looking forward to learning the Hercules 😇

The good news is that, yes, most of us do remember genuine joy. The bad news is that, sadly, one does get used to certain kind of disappointment, I guess. Still, don't mistake skepticism for negativity, please. The matter of fact is, that being somewhat realistic in what can be done helps curb that disappointment quite a lot. You know, people been here long enough to understand that things don't 'just happen' all that easily, so we got to pick our wishes carefully.
Heck, I know that I often come off as really negative around here. The truth of the matter is that I try not to be, but sadly some glaring issues actually do get in the way of enjoying DCS as is, even more so of what it could be. Pointing it out, sometimes in stark terms, is what I hope brings about an improvement. Other people have other preferred ways, I reckon.

But to get more on the topic at hand:
There are quite a few on your list that I'd definitely agree with. I'd shorten it a lot, because, well, I won't live forever either. The upcoming C-130J is, I am quite certain, going to pave the way for a whole new kind of flying in DCS, and I believe the more regularly carrier-capable C-2 Greyhound would be a very interesting module for DCS.
As far as the WW2 topic goes, I'm convinced that sooner or later it needs a proper bomber module to be viable. Some of the big birds would be interesting for sure, and a B-29 would also serve Korean-era scenarios well, but I'd also agree that starting out with something a little more, lets say, lightweight, would be the way to go, as it offers more flexibility. You got the B-25 on the list, and there is a whole trove of fun variants of that. I'll also admit I always liked it somehow. In a similar vein I could also see the somewhat rarer B-26 or the illustrious A-26 - both also wouldn't be strictly WW2 modules.

Some of the more exotic wishes, I think, have a long ways to go. The possibility of doing them aside, anything that is focused on reconnaissance work or on anti-submarine duties pretty much would require DCS to implement these topics entirely first, and frankly, I doubt that ED would even consider that for a long time. Both of those could be very interesting, though.

So you're an optimist, I take it?

This is my wish wish list. I speak for no one else. I expect nothing from others - not even the creation of anything on MY wish list.

Love the mission editor too btw. Been learning a about it and it's super fun.

If we had a dollar for every long wishlist. A lot of them exist if you look, and most of your wishes have already been wished for. 😉

What's actually funny is that most of us are not negative, rather realistic, and we're basically joking with you. But I guess that went over your head. 😄

Cheers!

It's really not about that, I assure you. Most of us would really like your list of aircraft modeled in DCS and even more. But please be precise, don't be greedy, pick one and post it. Otherwise one could just wish for this list:

https://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/indexMAIN.php

and the whole subforum stops making any sense after for any aircraft wishes. Hope you understand
