I'm speechless, incredible mod. I got the feeling that we don't see it with FC v2.0 or even BS.

 

A question to Wags: Couldn't ED make a joint venture with that company and sell these great mods to the community? I'll bet that ED would have instant success and a good additional revenue on the side.

AFAIK all models showcased by Coyote will make it into DCS. He is in charge of communication with 3rd party artists, commercial or non commercial and handles integration, if i'm not mistaken.

I just have one question... does every vehicle model has to have driver in it? Howabout randomise some vehicles when stationary to not have any driver? That possible?

Kuky, I believe that would then have to be separate models to be loaded by the simulator - increases memory load.

 

Unless the models are made with detachable drivers from the start, which would probably mean re-doing all the existing models. :/

Hehe. My initial thoughts were that it's no use making a nice 3d model for the A-10 module, since no ones going to see one up close anyway :D

Well in the case of this model..

 

 

..I would agree that it would be a good idea to remove the driver when stationary and it would be pretty easy to do. The missile tubes would be in the elevated position only when the vehicle is stationary and in preparation for launch - so you could simply apply visibility animation to "remove" the driver character and use the argument that controls launch tube elevation for the purpose.

I find this vehicule great, it will be very nice into the BS environment.

But I don't understand the real purpose of these add-ons (tanks, SAMs,...).

We are on the DCS website and few months after the realisation of these add-ons there are still not available for BS for instance...

 

Are these vehicules made for other programs of softwares ???

The BS community is so excited by these models but also a little bit disappointed by the non-releasable of them.

lot of new ground vehicles were added to DCS BS already and newer ones will be added in future DCS modules, some of them maybe put into FC 2.0 (I hope)

Не переживайте! Все модели, скрины которых я выкладываю на форуме, ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО будут в игре, так как делаются исключительно и эксклюзивно для DCS серии и ни куда более! Просто процесс этот не быстрый, нарисовать модель это пол дела, надо ее еще и запрограмировать и настроить для игры. Например тот же С-300 ранее был только статичным, теперь же он будет мобильным.
