I understand that there is already a poll on the subject, but what I wonder is, that decision was made that the aircraft is below ....

I thought everyone knew that it would be DCS:UAZ?

I do not find funny, and less at this point where that ED should take a decision and start working on that topic.

They are working on DCS A-10C right now, whether you find that funny or not is not important.

Edit: To explain somewhat this rather harsh statement above: It has been said that all focus is on DCSW to be able to release it before the end of the year. Would you rather not have it this way? I would find that not funny. ;)

F/A-18E :) Since I am already used it it!

(happy VRS F/A-18E flight sim owner here)

Never used a VRS but I am pretty sure you would only know where the systems were and not really how you use much of it in actual DCS fidelity.

I will buy and fly anything that DCS release, but would be happier with the older system aircraft because it took more of a pilot to drive them than the new fly by wire jets. They just push the stick in the direction they want to go and the jet determines how to do that for them.

We must pay tribute to the Tomcat with a new "Fleet Defender" sim and the only developer with capacity to create a decent one is the DCS... Not to say that the access to the F-14 would be easier than the currently operating F-18E

Access to it will be harder. There are no current operators to consult and people who did operate it did so a very long time ago.

I have a friend in Iran who...sells things. Now he knows a guy that did this one guy's wife who knows this Iranian Air Force pilot who got drunk with a guy who flew the Tomcat during the war. Now let's just say he misplaces his keys to the Tomcat, they fall into my hand and ED happens to find it in their front parking lot a few days later...

Why in the world would you want the SU-25. It's been done, what twice already? Not to mention it offers nothing more than a ground attack aircraft to move mud which the KA-50 and A-10C already do.

GPU: RTX 4090 - 3,000 MHz core / 12,000 MHz VRAM.

CPU: 7950X3d - 5.2 GHz X3d, 5.8 GHz secondary / MB: ASUS Crosshair X670E Gene / RAM: G.Skill 48GB 6400 MHz

SSD: Intel Optane P5800X - 800GB

VR: Pimax Crystal

CONTROLS: VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Base / VPC Constellation ALPHA Prime Grip / VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle / TM Pendular Rudders

Maybe I'm seeing the things in the primitive way, but it will be a kind of symmetric response. For a campaign it's fine, we can also manage without SU-25, but in multiplay mode then you don't have any choice-if you want a ground-attack aircraft-you take only A-10, helicopter-only Ka-50 etc. Looks like revolution in the country-two armys equipped with the same weapons:D

I would really enjoy a Kiowa, or even a Kiowa/Little Bird twin pack. Would be a fun bird to fly with a bit of a different twist on things than the normal Apache/Havok/Hind stuff.

hmmm.....Twoseater variants is a pretty interesting thing. Is it possible to get a statement by ED whether a twoseater variant is actually basically possible? According to the AH-64 Apache as well, which was No. 3 in the former Module List and any other Aircrafts.

Probably won't get any such statement from ED, the only limit they seemed to have set for themselves is we won't see F22's and such in a dcs module anytime soon (understandably so).

Two seaters is probably something that is very well possible. MI-24, Apache, F-15E.
