I´d rather would like to fly the F-14, since a good Tomcat Sim has actually never been exist. There was one decades ago, somethings with Janes Sim or so, for DOS.

The F-14 has a sole I never noticed on the F-15 (thats just my point of view).

On the technicale aspects, I totally agree with you and in a dogfight I´d rather select the F-15. But I nontheless would prefer the F-14 (first) on a DCS Sim, if I´d get asked.

Totally agree... :( The Tcat never had a good sim, hell the only time i played it was on arcade AFTERBURNER ][. So ED do us a fav and let us fly this beautifull machine :)

DCS: Rafale

Everybody and there mom foams at the mouth over the F-22/F-35/T-50/Typhoon, yet this thing gets no love when it is the greatest advancement in aircraft sexiness since the Spitfire and F-16! How can you not love something that looks this good?

It is actually pretty damn good, too!

As long as it is the Rafale M. We would get carrier ops, and its better than the F-18C in every way. This aircraft would make a fine addition to the US Navy.

Question there is: does it do anything that the F/A-18E doesn't do? ;)

You can look at it without getting sick. :P

C variant looked much better. The Superbug is too big for its design, like somebody tried morphing it with an F-15. The result looks... off.

It's sized about right for its design ... any smaller and its turning ability would have been compromized.

Problem with Rafales sexyness is, that it looks more than a super-mega-cool-private super-sonic aircraft rather than a war-machine. That's where the super-bug scores. I love looking at the my VFA-103 scale model on the shelf, and man it looks mean! :)

And yes, I also like the F-4. Especially with a full A-G load and a nice camouflage. :)

Don't say the Cat sucks because of it being a interceptor only with its AIM-54. The "D" carried the AIM-120, LGBs and JDAMs. It would for sure be interesting and challenging to fly it. It's not always the most superior aircraft that is fun to fly in a sim...

If we are judging aircraft looks based on how much of a "war machine" it is, I pick...

Tornado. I want this in a study sim someday, sometime. I compare it to the FW190, in that it is chunky, but not "fat". It looks like the kid that knows how to box.

That would be a fun aircraft. I'd prefer a harrier. I've said before but I can see that won't happen for a while.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

+1 I'd love DCS tornado GR4. A true fighter bomber. And ugly as S#?*$

I pick B-2, and you're all pwned. Not only is it a bomber, it's batman.

Sure? AFAIK it was provisioned and tested but never reached operational status before the turkey was phased out.

It would for sure be interesting and challenging to fly it.

With that i agree, but it'll most likely never happen.

ED needs to release a US Naval Aviation Module with fully simulated F-14D's, Super-Hornets and a SH-60 along with a super detailed carrier and larger theatre. You say this is impossible? Nothing motivates someone to do the impossible like a bunch of Russian mafioso's and FSB agents ready to break them into little pieces if they don't complete the module.

I vote for a human kite study sim.

It may be complex as there are a lot of aspects to model, plus the start up sequence would be a nightmare to remember, but it'd be worth the effort. :smilewink:

First test flight

But, in all seriousness, I voted for the F-18 to enable carrier missions and because I figured it was the most likely (and it is a pretty awesome jet, can't lie) as adding carriers in addition to a two-seater would be tough, plus, I highly doubt that the F-35 would work if all that talk about classified information being an issue. However, this isn't to say that a two-seater should not be made. I think that would be really fun in MP. Although, it would mean learning two cockpit roles and some people might not prefer one of these meaning MP could be difficult to find spots open.

As for a bomber, I think the F-117 would be pretty sweet.

Hopefully, someday they may have an AH-64, preferably the D variant...

F18 is ugly. Super cockpit moreso. Too big for body I think. Rafale would be sweet. F4 is one of my favorites and would love a sim for that, but very doubtful unless it comes from Jet Thunder group. F14 is my other favorite cold war plane. It did get its time in the super sim spotlight though, if I remember correctly.

Have we had a proper Tornado sim yet? It's been all USA and Russia so far, why not mix it up a bit?

If this next one is F/A-18, please have multiple nations for the campaign. US Navy, Canada, Australia, Swiss, etc

Swiss? Involved in an armed conflict??

FA-18 with multiplayer or AI WSO

I hope will be FA-18 superhornet, but including a WSO AI for single payer and a human WSO in multiplayer, it means than a human can pilot the F-18 and the other be his WSO in the back seat, amazing!!

It would be, but I'm worried about the AI in single player. Also, I'm worried about how most people would learn the pilot role and not the WSO role, which would be kind of problematic in multiplayer.

If possible, it might help if the cockpit in MP could allow one player to have different difficulty/realism level than the other. That way, if a person is required to fly in a seat they aren't familiar with, they could make it a little easier so they aren't just pressing buttons at random.

But, maybe I'm wrong... maybe that won't be a problem.

Also, don't get the wrong idea, I'm all for realism and I play both A-10c and Ka-50 in simulation mode. :smartass:
