Man, get real. ED said the next DCS release will be an American fixed wing fighter. Obviously the poll is appropriate to list all American fighter aircraft.

ED just said its going to be US fixed wing jet. Does fixed wing jet represent fighter? what about Boeing 737....:)

Actually... ED did say that the next DCS aircraft would be a 'fixed-wing US aircraft'.

The P-51 is a fixed-wing US aircraft, and is the next DCS product.

One ED stuff munber added that it's a modern fast US fixed wing jet. So boeing 737 exactly corresponds with the statement.

plus: I think boeing 737 can go very fast,near 1 mach.:D

Funny !!

DCS 737 !!! What about DCS KC-135 and DCS Cessna 150 ? :D

We know that its a popular modern fighter, that can't be an F-4 or older aircraft, F-16, F-15 (C/D/E) and F-18 (C/D/E/F) can be the only choice i think !

You get real ..... 2 posts and being rude already ..... sign of things to come I guess .

FI ..........

Not being rude. Just showing that your comment that all U.S. aircraft is listed in the poll is illogical and unreasonable.

It's also illogical to think the next DCS U.S. fixed wing aircraft would be a Boeing 737. I mean look at the name of the simulation series (Digital Combat Simulation.) The Boeing 737 has nothing to do with combat. It's a seating plane. LOL

Ok It's speculation on our part what the next U.S. fixed wing aircraft will be, but going by the announcement they gave which was:

"4- The first "DCS Flying Legends" aircraft will be released in the first half of 2012.

5- The next US fixed wing jet DCS aircraft is being worked on in parallel."

It can be reasonably surmised it's going to be a U.S. fixed wing jet, and it doesn't mean it's going to be the DCS flying legends aircraft.

So to say "I think the vote is biased ..... only American stuff there to vote on," sounds like you're out of touch and unreasonable, so get real. Haha

If that was the case, there would be a lot of unhappy people :D

It probably depends on the amount of accessible information on the helicopter.

If it's enough to make a simulation of high standards then they could produce it. If it isn't then it's unlikely.

Another factor could be the expected market for it.

God forgives... Spyros doesn't.

It depends on the military contracts they will receive that allow them to create an entertainment version.

Another company already made a Ka-52 simulator for Russia so I find it highly unlikely that ED will get anything from that direction.

I would kill for DCS Ka-52 though. :P

I will buy the KA-52 without thinking...!

Or an avionics upgrade for the Ka-50. I'll throw money at ED for any Black shark upgrade as long as it is realistic! :)

Hmm it would be nice to see an avionic upgrade for the current DCS black shark. As a matter of fact is the black shark still being produced along side the KA-52 or did they stop producing black sharks all together? Im curious about this since i see the KA-50 on kamovs product list on their website :helpsmilie:.

The Ka-50 is being retired, and it's being retired in more or less the same configuration as you have in-sim. Expect no upgrades.

@GGTharos

The updates at the KA-50 where not big, but

decisive for it to become a better Attack Helicopter.

So they plan to retire it from military service? As far as I know they've stopped producing the helicopter, but it is still used for 'special operations.'
