I am not very good in these Forum search things. Looked in every Forum Category but didnt find any news about it yet. I think there are many people who are very eager to fly their combat helicopters with the fixed wing aircrafts on one server. Scooternutz Posted April 2, 2010 Share Posted April 2, 2010 I bought FC2 because of the patch. Mildly disappointing that it is not done yet. I am hoping it will be done before tomorrow. It would be great to fly it this weekend. On a positive note: I copied several BS missions into FC2 and they work. I had to change some of the planes to Player mode. What I am dreading is the patch will not work and all the hype will be for not. I also installed the runway mods from BS into FC2. This kind of cross compatibility is very promising. One of the main points for people buying FC 2.0 was that it had been announced as compatible to DCS:BS: "Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 2.0 will feature the same world environment and game functionality as the Digital Combat Simulation (DCS) series and will be online compatible with the Ka-50 attack helicopter simulation DCS: Black Shark http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com. Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 2.0 will allow Lock On pilots and Black Shark pilots to now fly online together in both cooperative and head-to-head online play."
