Motorcyles - got one? Show it off :)

Now that warmer weather is here, I've pulled the bikes out of the garage. I'm not a serious biker. Primarily, I just ride it back and forth to work. A back injury years ago keeps me from being able to sustain those long road trips.

 

Not only that, but I prefer the street cruiser body style over the road cruiser. The unfortunate part is that the street cruiser design has all but disappeared.

 

So, a couple of years ago, I found a great deal on a 1986 Honda Magna VF700C. Great bike. When I get another, it will be the VF1100 variant of this great series.

 

I'm still working on this one's restoration, but here's some of what I've done so far....

 

Based upon the location of dents and damage and the lack of road rash anywhere, the bike looked like it toppled off of a lift.

 

Had to replace the guage cluster, rebuild the headlight, repair the horn assembly, and a few other minor mechanical and cosmetic repairs.

 

Still not done yet. I am still scrounging for a fuel tank in decent shape (even if I have to coat the interior) and a rear fender.

i like it, the frame is an awesome design, same with the bars,

it is a very good looking bike.

 

the contrasting colour scheme is nice,

Woah, a ZX-2R, am I reading that right?

Is that a 2 cilynder 4-stroke 250cc engine perhaps? Never heard of it before.
