Too late. We are officially announcing that 104th is switching over to H.A.W.X, and we will have our training done soon, and if you believe that, I have some good igloo real estate to see you in the nice cold :D

Well crunch, I hate to see you guys go, but I totally understand your decision to switch to HAWX. Hopefully your recruitment base will feel more at home playing that game. On the plus side the HAWX community will have a great influx of players capable of advertising FC2 and DCS to the HAWX pilots looking for a little more in their game. Thus bringing new and interested pilots into the FC2 and DCS community.

Does multiiplayer over the interwebs work with the A-10C Beta? I though that was a work in progress and it was on the list of "not yet working"? (Alpha state code at present for that - don't get me started). Hence no (public) A-10C server for 104th at the moment.

 

You should see "Operation Moonshield" for H.A.W.X. Was hard for Crunch and MoGas to get the igloos in but now they're next to the dual runways at Krasnodar-Pashkovskii Airbase they look C.H.O.I.C.E.

 

Anyone know how to map Maverick slew commands to the X and triangle buttons? :)

Where did everybody go. Just went on the server a couple of times today, and what used to be a full server all the time, was completely empty. Is absolutely everyone playing DCS A-10c. All the servers are empty. :cry:

Hey Sharkster, I popped in to the 51 server just to keep my hand in at flying the shark and there was nobody flying. (Took forever to get to a point I could fly that beast so I don't want to forget.)

Even the usual number of F-15 guys on the 104 server was way down.

 

You're right, it's pretty quiet alright. Loving the A-10C though.

I think everyone is playing off line with the A-10. I normally log into the 104th TS server as a matter of course, theres been a few of the VNAO guys on there, a couple that were doing something inventive with their super hornets while I was flying the gunnery and rockets training mission off line last night, some of the AF guys, who seem to be going great with the A-10C, but it has been fairly quiet the last week.

 

We need to keep nudging Crunch to give us a sandbox server to learn the A-10 on :)

I've been ther flying A-10A but there were ONE MiG 29 flying around and taking me down. Not fun at all when there are no fighters to support you when doing ground targets.

Im not too sure on that, my wife's never even seen the remote, let alone know how to use it, and I constantly kick her out of the house to go and buy more beers and Cheerios', but she still manages to come back in one piece. Bless her cotton socks. :wub:

Read the Flight Manual. It also substitutes as an answer for most questions on your Pilots written theory test, try saying it to your instructor too and he will be pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable you are
