Please correckt me if I am wrong, but just for uninstall and reinstall a deactivation is as well not needed as a following reactivation again. Just uninstall and reinstall and you´ll be fine

I installed over 1.01 but noticed something strange.

 

Both Auto hover and Turn to target don't work anymore. I engage autohover < 5 kts (as I've always done) and get no help from the autopilot. I drift as if it wasn't engaged. Also, turn to target won't point the nose at the targeting recticle. BUT, if I engage route mode my nose swings around to the route heading like a bat outta hell. All three are different behaviors than before. I really don't want to uninstall and start from scratch but this is weird. Anyone else notice anything close to the above?

Same here, everything works fine for me. I ran the track once to see the problem, and then ran it again to take over controls...when I took over, I was in game mode and not in realistic mode. Don't know if that has anything to do with it (I have never tried game mode).

I uninstalled BS and then instaled it agin followed by the patch and all is good, I then went to my modman (I uninstalled my mods before patching) which asked for the rootfolder, I tried the main KA50 folder and the startup folder which is in bin/stable and both times it just closes down modman....how to get modman to work and instal my mods again? thanks all.

I was using turn on target last night, though, I installed 1.0.2 over 1.0.1c.

Ok, I'll reinstall, but what files do I need to backup to keep my keyboard settings? I made drastic changes, and I don't want to go back and have to figure it out all over again.

Yes, and that you have "use these options for all missions" activated. Also, be sure you're setting up axis for ka-50 real, and not for ka-50 game or free veiw.

I only play single player and the patch over 1.01 appears to have worked fine for me.

Probably didn't make the cut time wise. It's much more sad that the AI wingman-hover fix didn't make it.

EDIT: Oh, only later do I read "multiplayer." I'm so happy to see that the mission planner is included in SP! For MP... I would assume the mission planner generates a temporary miz file as the planner is basically the ME. For all clients to have the same miz file there can only be one versions which would mean... the host would have to plan, host, and then all download the temp plan miz file.

 

Does the MPLN feature work if you're the mission host?

Same thing happened to me. I'm not used to patches completely wiping my program preferences. I suddenly thought I was a pilot ace because it changed it back to Game flight model too. :pilotfly:

I'd say that there are at least 3 times more people online than some 3 weeks ago. Now it would be grat if we could filter servers by FC2 / DCS / BOTH!!! criteria.

So after a successful install of 1.02 and satisfied with everything, is it ok to delete all the files under the backup folder in Black Shark?
