DCS A-10C QUESTIONS

Great from one side and bad from the other.

"No dynamic campaign (at least not with the release of the A-10C)."

Maybe some kind of patch? Because dynamic campaign is "primo" in our squadron, not everyone wants to do huge mission.

Hi, I have a problem. I found on the Russian-speaking forum, but I do not know the Cyrillic alphabet :) so I write here.

My problem is:

When I'm dropping CBU-87, and when I'm pressing SJ The game is crashing and the information "Unhandled exception: No input port in scheme: target_pos" appears. I reinstalled the game and nothing any ideas?

CBUs are bugged in beta 4. Plz wait for beta 5.

I use Beta 4 for win 7, but I can't find TrackIR5 in control option menu,I already start the TrackIR software,But The game of A10 can't use it.(KA50 is no problem)

If you're running the 64-bit version, you'll need to update your TrackIR drivers to the latest beta release, as they only added 64-bit support recently.

 

Alternatively, you can run the 32-bit version of the game if you opted to install the 32-bit binaries during the installation process.

 

If you're not running the 64-bit version of the game, or if you are and have already updated your TrackIR drivers, make sure you've used the "refresh games list" option in TrackIR to update its list of supported games.

Guys, please, help. Maybe I'm missing something. I have two monitors - main 1960*1050 and secondary 1440*900.

 

Buy default, A-10C runs on main screen 1960*1050, everything is fine, even when I choose different profiles (3 cameras, etc) - looks weird, but works.

 

Now, when I change one parameter in \MissionEditor\data\scripts\options.lua

Line 41: ["width"] = 3120,

 

the game crashes after I launch mission.

 

I was expecting 3120 (1680 + 1440) will make it wide, and then I will add MFCDs to my secondary screen.

 

I've read several topics, but I can't start creating monitor lua setup as long first step - options.lua file change fails.

 

I'm running Win7, and have "advanced desktop" option enabled - my desktop is on both screens, not sure how you call it in English exactly.

 

Please, advise.

Not sure if this is a known bug, but DCS: A-10 crashes on a frequent basis if I use eyefinity while playing. The game has never crashed (and by crashed I mean crash to desktop) while playing in single-display mode. Please let me know if you would like me to provide further information. Thanks!

No Axis support for x52?

 

Hey all, I seem to be having trouble getting any Axis commands for the x52 in the A10c options-axis commands. there are no spots in axis commands to set an axis to my throttle or stick... it shows my stick is there, but am not able to assign it. The squares are not there to do it and also there is no commands on the lft to assign throttle or stick to. Only rudders, which I have my chpro rudder ped to.

 

Any help would be greatfull

Cluster Bomb causes runtime error?

 

Seems every time I drop a cluster bomb the game crashes.

 

I receive the following error and am unable to move the screen to view it properly... :(

 

 

I assume it says Fatal Exception

So I've discovered that I can't access the Nevada missions. When I do the sim. crashes, well it says that A-10C Warthog has stopped working. Has anyone else had this problem? Also I have the CH 568 Combatstick; I've never had a problem with the rolling throttle on the base of the stick. It works well with LO 2.0 and BS, but A-10 doesn't recognize it for some reason. Has anyone else had problems with this? This is the only throttle that I have until I can get my stand alone throttle.

I bought DCS:Ka-50 before without the joystick and found it a major hassle to wrestle control of the gunship every so often. It was hard to make small adjustments without veering off course. I didn't have much time to learn the systems of the Ka-50 but I was content in arcade with realistic settings(wind turbulance ect.) My question now is, will I be able to enjoy DCS:A10 with a joystick such as the logitech 3D pro or Cyborg FLY? Which stick is better? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The only thing that can be loaded on the centre line is a drop tank, and only if stations 5 and 7 are empty.

Gobes...you're correct, we can load items on station 6 but only if 5 and 7 are empty because of how close they are to each other.

 

Normally Station 6 isn't used but the fact that people say it can't carry anything except an external fuel tank is wrong.

 

I'm not a weapons troop so I'm not sure what can be carried besides fuel tank, travel pod, TER or dumb bombs though.

 

Also, the only way to tell what suite version an A-10 is is to look at the ACFT forms (781s) or talk to specs they know.

yes Pappy just let it run it appears as if its not responding but in fact its binding and will take up to 6 min to complete.

 

A progress bar or SOME sign of life would surely be nice!
