CrashEd Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take me too long to knock up a decent profile for FC2. Would give me something to do while I'm waiting for the A-10C! :joystick:

159th_Viper Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Do you know were to pre-order or order from? :helpsmilie: I pre-ordered from Amazon about a month or so ago. They have always had the delivery date as 31 Oct - 1 Nov over here in the UK. Not sure where else you can pre-order from though. Amazon listing has since been removed, but pre-order remains active on my account. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? Click me to commence your Journey of Pillage and Plunder! Pilotasso Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 ETA mid October? Looks like it will arrive just in time for Xmas :D .
topdog Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Hopefully in time for me to cash in a truckload of amazon vouchers from a cranky bonus scheme at work (expires at end of the year), which ought to be enough to cover the cost (and maybe some pedals too) :D In any case, it's nice to have some semi-official update on these threads, it's been a while coming. CrashEd Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 Random Question: Can anyone remember who it was who made the furry dust covers for the Cougar? They had a red 'Remove Before Flight' label on them. I still have mine and reckon it is the single most reason why my 'stock' Cougar still works. Wonder if the original maker/manufacturer will make a set for the Warthog?
topdog Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 They may not be available anymore, not sure. I found the lead from http://cougar.flyfoxy.com/mods.php which suggested the maker's (Kosmo's) own website which seems to be down or maybe had its DNS hijacked after expiry by a hosting company (the kind that splash ads all over old domains). They also suggest http://www.simw.com/ as a reseller but a quick glance/search didn't find any product there of this type. Hope it helps with your search. =Panther= Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I know that the manufacturer stopped making them about 1-2 years ago. I haven't seen any replacements but it would be nice to have a set for the Warthog. The site was hotascovers.com but is no longer live. LawnDart Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Start here. I wouldn't worry about the base plate on the stick side, just the diameter of the round base. LawnDart Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I updated my previous with more information. Do you have the diameter and height of the stick base (without plate attached) handy? CrashEd Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Thanks for the info guys. Shame the guy is still not around to make something for the Warthog. I may have to make something myself. When Some one gets a Warthog let me know the dimensions and i will whip some up  Deadman, I would happily pay you to make a set of these

Maybe they will do a Warthog version... There doesn't seem to be an easy way to order the existing ones on their site though... The Warthog will be available for USA pre-ordering later this week. I hope this is the case in the UK.
