Insignificant they may be but they are puzzling me as to their use.

 

That is the pieces of what seems to be cord that are shown attached to the lower side of the front canopy, viewed from inside.

it seem to keep the canopy closed down and locked, when you close the canopy... you have to tie it down! LMAO!...:lol::megalol:

Could they be unofficial "mods" for holding maps, charts to stop them moving around the cockpit, or am I being too sensible here.

actually looks like it might be from a no power sign or hud shroud. I know we used to tie things to those arms for those reasons. probably modeled in by mistake.

Well I've done some more googling and found out that at least ED didn't invent these.
