A squadmate told me that your email address must be the same on both the DCS (http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com) and also the Forums site (http://forums.eagle.ru). My UserID, and also Password were already the same on both sites, but my email addresses were different. So, I changed my profile on the Forums (http://forums.eagle.ru) to match the email address that I had on the DCS site and now I do have access to the Beta Forums. After changing and confirming (by email link) my new email address, I then had to go back to that A10C Download page. There will now be a long button at the top telling you to click it to "request access to the beta forums". Once you do that, it becomes a link to the Beta forums that actually works. (I had this link before, but since my emails didn't match it said that I did have access, but obviously I did not. THIS IS A BUG!) I downloaded from torrents and installed it, however it didn‘t have option to choose 32 bit install and I got only two icons on my desktop. When I start sim, that small blue light on TracIR doesn’t show up. I’m on Win XP 32 bit. Any thoughts? I noticed that A-10 uses the profile I assigned for black shark although I have an A-10 entry. You might want to check that also. To be honest I was hoping it (either beta or final) would not be out for while because I'm too busy with work and studies right now. I've been eyeing this for a few days and just thought I would test how long the download would take... 6 minutes with 100mbit connection..
