HungaroJET Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Sawamura & Diveplane = ^ NICE  Wonderful HungaroJET, and do you have all the correct liveries working for this model? and the DM? Got it (your PM) Mustang  well, as i saw the Damage Model is O.K. -- "factory" 3GO liveries R done, now come some colour updates/corrections and bunch of liveries more by skin artists -- wrong self-(non)-illuminated textures have been corrected (wingtips, cockpit and AB lights), now come the half sized non-turning billboard texture corrections... Atop the midnight tarmac, a metal beast awaits. To be flown below the radar, to bring the enemy his fate. HAVE A BANDIT DAY ! HungaroJET Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Sawamura & Diveplane = ^ NICE  .............. thx , nice job on those su27/33 models TY, but this is not for me due but for works of 3GO and CombatAce  btw: CombatAce PMed to me: he is planning/going to update his Su-33 model (to Su-35/37? ):bounce: :worthy: Atop the midnight tarmac, a metal beast awaits. Pyroflash Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Beautiful... the best looking Eagle scheme out there! Yeah, until someone makes a skin out of these If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
Pyroflash Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 So wrong. Ugly crayon colors. Silly rabbit, you can't paint an aircraft with crayons! :D If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
SkateZilla Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 ^ Fine  ...and herez my fullstop :D and some corrections: Hmm My Apache has white illuminated textures in the cockpit... Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
HungaroJET Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) Hmm My Apache has white illuminated textures in the cockpit... Correct. I mean - was wrong :D (texture material definition in the model) like the non-moving connector (unconnector) of the luminare also, so the spotlight "beamed" always to the ground. Material was corrected. Connector was connected (to the luminare), so now its moving perfectly like in the AH-64D. I will release soon but i need to update some other stuffs more: impossible tailplane animations, fix sized NAV light textures (must B smaller/larger by rotary) etc. About Su-27: i was lucky - i was able fairly quickly correct the self-illuminated parts and also corrected the tail/wingtip navigation lights - Billboard squares. The Billboards turned hardly to left alltime, therefore seemed to halfsized. Now its faced to the camera. Now i need to put all corrections into one file, and go through all LOD files also. Ali Fish Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 That vapor reminds me of old Flanker series. :P really miss that, i remember the discussions on it too. "there shall be no vapours". it is time imo. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Blaze Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 people like ;) Should make it more 3D and volumetric, better than 2D vapor. ;) i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. iceHUMMER Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Should make it more 3D and volumetric, better than 2D vapor. ;) no problem :)
Pyroflash Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Shouldn't it be possible to do some rudimentary calculations of vapor from velocity, air density, and G-loading info fetched from the sim? That way you should be able to get a propogation of Vapor somewhere between that of F4 and real life. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
joey45 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Spoken like Dr S. Cooper... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. diveplane Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Hmm My Apache has white illuminated textures in the cockpit... i had a similar problem , reported in object errors section. https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
Pyroflash Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Spoken like Dr S. Cooper... Of course :) He is my idol. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.

Right now mine is calculated on G, airspeed and AOA. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. aaron886 Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Really it would be based on lift production, so a combination of alpha and velocity would create the most convincing effect. Frankly when I created that 3D vapor and the script to run it, I didn't think to do it that way. Sorry to steal your thunder, Blaze.
