Headspace Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 Thanks everyone. I know some of you are having issues with the volume, I am working on fixing it this week and you will see a 1.0.1b7 soon with the fix included. In the meantime turn up your teamspeak 3 volume. 1
Kiwispit Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Hi Headspace. Firstly great invention, thanks. We tried it out last night and found that on the ground reception on all radios was fine. Once we got airborne and moved away from each other it started to fade and by the time we were about 10nm apart it was very scratchy and only just readable, on all radios. Is this the loudness issue you are referring to? It really sounded like reception fade due to distance, which is nice but it was just way to soon. Cheers

Cheers We had the same issue at the weekend when testing. I spoke to Headspace about it and he said he would have a look into it. It's good to see others have the issue as well, means it wasn't us being stupid :D. I'm sure it'll be sorted soon enough. In the mean time we've gone back to the previous version in the 25th.
Headspace Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 Looks like Teamspeak 3.0.0 just came out in the last 24 hours or so--and its API version number is updated so TARS is not going to work with this version. The new build which incorporates the distance falloff/volume changes will be compatible with 3.0.0.

Laud Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Hm... Just did some quick testing: You really think transmissions should be nearly lost at 15nm??? Headspace Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 Should be virtually unchanged at so short a distance. Check to ensure you updated appropriately. Send logs if necessary, particularly your tars-plugin.log.
