I installed it but it shows my firmware as 18 (throttle) and 9 (stick). How do you get the firmware to update?

Run the program Firmware Update in the Thrustmaster/Hotas Warthog folder in start menu.

Thanks, I tried the link for the instructions but the webpage wouldn't load...got it to work!

There's a typo in the URL. They have linked 'downlaod' instead of 'download'.

very good.

Mine goes off too with a power down of the PC which is always good.

@paulrkiii When you first run the Firmware tool it shows the current firmware, not the one youre updating to. Click each controller (Joystick and Throttle) and then run it.

When the update is done you will see the new firmware version displayed on the tool.

Hope that helps.

Yes Bubb:

Installation procedure:

1- Uninstall the previous driver version:

(Windows Vista / 7): Click Start/Control Panel /Programs/Uninstall a program, then uninstall HOTAS Warthog drivers .

(Windows XP) : Click Start/Settings/Control Panel /Add or Remove Programs then uninstall HOTAS Warthog drivers.

Alternatively, you can simply launch this package: it will uninstall the previous drivers for you.

2- Restart your PC.

Installed. LEDs now shut down with the computer.

But I'm still going to unplug it when not in use. Now we need a new version of TARGET that allows backlight adjustment. I think they should be off by default.

Hmmm. Are you sure this option isn't there? I'd have thought they put it in based on the download page description.

No option to "control LED state" below the firmware check on the throttle on the TARGET GUI?

I've downloaded it but haven't taken the time to install yet due to the fact I hate rebooting. ;)
