Not strictly true: for those who are completely uninterested in an FC3 (if there are such people), the time spent developing and testing an FC3 product is time where ED isn't bringing products that they specifically are interested in. Not a huge issue I think. Group Z wants Product B. Company 1 decides to make Product A. Group Z is sad. That's my point. This is probably necessary... They have to keep money coming in, and that's very hard to do in this market. If we all buy FC3, ED employees get a high return on [time] investment, and they are able to continue working on DCS products. They can't just hibernate with no cash inflow for a few years.
