Why do we care about a screwtop right now? Until there's a flyable hornet...

Heh, the E-2D has a nice damage model, too. I was testing it by pitting it against Mig-29s. Bwahahaha! :megalol:

And another really cool thing! After it lands and leaves the runway, it folds its wings back against the fuselage. Now that would really come in handy on a carrier... Like, DCS Hornet or something... ;)

No, it's just to excite people for the inevitable let-down when they realize ED isn't going to waste their time modeling a failure of an airframe like a non-Superhornet F/A-18. :D

Props still not rotating when taking off from Carrier in "take off from runway mode"

You know Mower, it does strike me as a little odd that we have F/A-18A and C model legacy hornets, and the F-14A, but we now we have the E-2D...!? Why no F/A-18E or F models?

All we need now is the S-3 and A-6

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Note, we only just got the F-15E in warthog. These things take time.

Nate

Can you tell me what you guys based the F-15E skin off of? It's really highly detailed but it's just really odd seeing it with all the panels numbered... never seen that before.

Also, minor nitpick, but you also gave the Lakenheath F-15Es a gold tail flash - gold, or the 493rd, is an F-15C squadron - should be red or blue (494 or 492 respectively).

You're looking too close, don't you have a tank to drop some bombs on?! lol.

Nooo we need a Growler. :)
:punch:

No , first we need a better Tomcat model  same detail like Hornet or S-Eagle

VNAO F-14D isnt nice enough  and first stage swing-wings work with flaps paralelly :pain::puke:

The formation lights are backwards, panel 116 L/R have the 'individual' light on it, and it goes aft of the rest of them... behind the flaps and directly beneath the vertical stab. There's a big ICMS part under it :P

*NOW* you can complain about me being nitpicky :) :) :)

There's another option for a skin that looks really cool, love the multi-bladed turbo probs and is that the apu/wind genny sticking out the side. Really cool attention to detail

The transition for blades spooling up/down is a little off but watching this thing unfold on the deck then line up to be shot off the catapult is gonna look totally awesome :music_whistling:

Be interesting to see which aircraft get a facelift next, an indication/glimmer of hope as to where we're going perhaps? :pilotfly:
