Join SimHQ and the 104th Phoenix Squadron for the second SimHQ Fly In of Digital Combat Simulator's A-10C Warthog on November 11th and 12th! Like the September Fly In, this one will start Friday evening U.S. time and go all day Saturday. Plenty of time to strap on your A-10C and take it for a spin in multiplayer. The Fly In is open to pilots of all skill levels: snowbirds, turtles, second-year veterans, and experienced tank busters. There are Air Start slots as well as Ramp Start slots in the missions, so mastery of the Ramp Start checklist is not required. See you there!

Does anybody know exact GMT times? The starting time is nowhere to be found.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

Come let's eat grandpa!

Use punctuation, save lives!

Friday evening US time apparently... Not sure what that equates to but that should give a rough time though..

So probably midnight-ish GMT? Fair enough.

i can not open simhq for the moment (blocked as "Gaming" at work).

"opent to all skill levels" , basic knowledge is probably expected. was wondering where that expected line lies. i can cold start, take off, release unguided munitions, shoot the gau-8 in a very sloppy way, and visually land without poping the tires most of the times. maverick, cdu, radios, tgp is still mistery to me (well i can turn on the latter).

i'd really love to try Multiplayer, but i don't want to be a burden nor laughing stock

Anton.

My pit build thread .

Simple and cheap UFC project

Some people with even less experience participated last time, and were more than welcome.

What is the ip of the server again? No servers showing up at all in my master list :(

Intelligent discourse can only begin with the honest admission of your own fallibility.

You just need to wait in the server browser for 3 minutes or more for the list to update :D

Almost like repair :P

I wish I could fly, but there is still no 1.1.1.0 patch for Russian game -.-.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Found the ip on a post at simhq. Tried it a bit last night. Seems WAY unstable. First software crash I've had since using Win7. Happened a lot. Kept trying, though. I did manage to get in for a bit. Wasn't too much to shoot at, though I did happen upon a FARP with a Ka-50 spinning up. A maverick took care of that. :) Sorry player "john" :p

Was able to get back in for a lengthy ride today. Sadly, the only thing getting killed were 'buildings'.

Same here... My wingman *NOB*Perica & me jumped in a pair of Kutaisi Hog slots on the 104th, the atmosphere was really fantastic... all the radio chatter (we just put a walkie-talkie plugin to TS3) was thrilling... we started-up our beasts, rolled out to the runway... and BAAM, the bitching server went down... We then just escaped back to our server and slapped the bitch out of FOB Vetka for that... :gun_smilie:

Whatever the reasons/causes, this sim is far from "stable" when hosting a large wolfpack of Hogs comes to question... Not to mention this last "patch", 1.1.0.9 didn't crash for the last three months for our squad as did 1.1.10 in the last few days... :(

And sadly, stallturn ping was 450-500 and 104th was 150+... that somehow leaves those servers a little out of reach for my squadron... What is the ping you other Hog pilots had on those servers yesterday?

Our apologies for any instability experienced while flying on our servers. We are working diligently to rectify the issues. We are sorting through them trying to ascertain the cause of the crashes and categorize according to potential type, mission related, patch related, or servman/server settings related.

We are also submitting logs through the proper channels for examination by the developers and testers.

We have of course seen very large numbers of people on both servers throughout the weekend. The majority of them suffering only minor issues and of course the occasional crash. Pings below 300 would be fine if not for these other issues. As far as we can tell at this point the network is not the problem the crashes appear to be mission or game related and some what random in nature.
