- If Start in directory is the DCS game folder, copy BMP to DCS/Bazar/TempTextures

Yeah, done it. I just used Cadaver.bmp from there.

Same problem here with the latest as of today's date. Try 62806.

EDMplugin BUG

 

EDMplugin_BUG.zip included:

- dot2.max 2010 file

- dot2_62806.edm

- dot2_63720.edm

- box.bmp texture

- and screenshots.

 

edModelViewer test not acceptable, just in-game test. Developer rule...

hi, anybody knows about mirrows in cockpit, and self-ilmunation, tell about that, and How can and include those things to my cockpit, mirrows and self ilumation texture

and go to bottom of webpage. Check 2nd attachement image.

Mirror question:

 

Create a mirror texture in 3ds max. Example: mir

Use this texture for your mirror meshes.

And create this line in your liveries description lua:

 

livery =

{

{"mir", 0 ,"mirrors",true};--mirrors texture replacement with runtime rendered one

}

Everyone use build 62806 and do not update until further notice. The newer builds are preparing for future changes. That is all I can say on the subject for now.

EDM already supports bones and skeletal animations AFAIK. Used already on P-51 pilot and a few other things.

I just downdows the last plugin of edm, But I have a problem, the last Plugin that I used I maked cool all textures, And worked fine, But when I installed the las plugin when I export to edm format, in dcs is transparence, no cockpit no external model, and the texture are "cool" and the .edm format is about 4MB both of models, what is the problem??

Well I work 15h+ usually and fall asleep while scripting or animating privately after work so I hesitate a bit to bother you with something that's probably stupid.

 

I tried it with an older max version last n8 (2010) created just a box, converted it to editable mesh (just in case the export has a problem with the standard primitive header) created a simple material with bitmap texture (to be save I took it from the bazar/temp... in DCSA10C where I start the model viewer), created the custom attributes (make cool) etc exported, export log looks good, viewer opens but stays empty and nowhere else on my harddrives is any *.edm (besides the plugin file itself); where does it export to?

 

win7x64bit, latest C+, max version 64bit etc.
