With TacPack and subsequent Superbug updates on the way, if you're looking for a top-shelf fighter aircraft in FSX, it's still the VRS Superbug.

Thanks ;)

That is the "beta" version of the SP?

Glad to hear this :D

By the way, do you have the SuperBug also?

Yes.. for both FS9 and FSX

The MilViz one?

Somone should inform those guys that the "Bit balls" are not lights at all, and do not light up. And, pink is also not allowed in the cockpit. :)

We also no longer have a LOX quantity gauge(Been gone since the mid 90's), and CAS control panel is in the wrong spot entirely. The cockpit accuracy is definetely a little lacking, but I understand some work-arounds have to be made to get FS functionality in there.

LOL. :D

Yeah doesn't look very accurate in general, shaping-wise. Not that I spend time around the Mudhen like you do... but I can tell that stick is all kinds of wrong.

cant even run the installer =(

Think I will skip this one lol. Have the VRS anyway so I dont really need a 2nd fighter for a sim with no real fighter ability.

Cartoonish and inaccurate cockpits with both MilViz and IRIS...

They shoud ask BMS guys for some assistance...

Hmm, still better than any other F-15 model out there.

^^^^

True, it's not MilViz or IRIS fault. Fact is it's a FSX addon and FSX has this crazy color balance. However, both IRIS and MilViz should have done more researching 'cause their F-15E pits are very inaccurate.

Well, topic here is MilViz F-15E and I wish no pointing out the "bad" stuff...

However, some of the cockpit gauges are outdated or misplaced or simply not functional as IRL and as in real Strike Eagles.

Laymen like us are hard to run upon some detailed data and docs but if you're making the most realistic desktop sim of it you better do some in deep researching before you state perfection of your product.

Believe me, both Ka-50 and A-10C are very accurate and detailed and that's probably why I'll stick to whatever DCS comes up with. And they're both much cheaper as they're all standalone products unlike FSX where you'll spend a lot to make things look realistic.

IRIS F-15E and RAZBAM F-15E for DCS: World, It's time to have MilViz F-15E as well (what a eagles' battle)! :)

So, somebody should inform them to do something before the 4th F-15E! :D

Let's fly together for the sake of peace :)

Right, why on earth would someone build a third one? Building a second one is a bad bet in the first place.

...quote delted at the request of poster...

If you are implying by 'we' that you work for Mil-Viz then tell me what the value would be in putting out the third version of the same aircraft. How many do you think will sell if it is the third one on the market?

This is not an FSX audience, so the total market is a fraction of FSX and MilViz will only get a small bit of that fraction.

If someone can make a profit that way, then more power to them, but I really don't see it as a viable decision for any other company to make the same aircraft unless they think they can be first out of the gate with it.
