I only downloaded the a10C world package and it works fine with the dcs world and P51 package. A10C works like it should with the default warthog profile. Just like playing the stand alone client. Also I never had to enter the serial number again; maybe the install recognized the valid stand alone client install on my machine.

I assume there's a registry entry that keeps track of the activation. I've done several installations of both stand-alone client and World, and only had to activate once.

I originally had purchased, and installed, A-10C from Steam as they had a good sale on it earlier. After reading some threads here, I determined it would be better to download the latest version from ED and install it instead. I first recorded my product serial number from Steam to have if necessary, then deleted the Steam install.

I then installed the full version I downloaded from ED, and it installed and ran just fine - did not even ask me for this number if I recall correctly.

Correct, the activation data is stored under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eagle Dynamics\. If you want to run DCS from multiple Windows user accounts on the same PC, you need to export and import the registry data since it's stored per user. If you don't, then running DCS from another account will require another activation.

I have already downloaded DCS A-10C version 1.1.1.1. ..... when you speak about the A-10C module , I assume you dont need to add 1.1.1.1. to the world and "module" downloads ?

If I want to do a fresh install , I need DCS World and the DCS A-10C module , only , right ?

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question , but there are that many questions and answers and theorys , my head is spinnin !!!

I have just installed A-10C in DCS world.

I have also exported from A-10C my monitosetup for my screens and it's fit perfectly !!

I have only one problem : the trims on my HOTAS Wathog are not functionnal despite a correct setup in options. Same problem for the Communication menu activated in A-10C with the vertical command just a the rear of the HOTAS Joystick... Beta ???

I think the default for TM Warthog has the hat switch on the stick set to POV, with LCtrl modifier for trim.

Had to do that when I first got my HOTAS a couple of weeks ago. Had to remap hat switch to trim then as now (after 1.1.2.1).

Appreciate it. Thanks. Note, not all bugs will be fixed, but we will record/catalogue them at the very least. Short Tracks are always helpful when reporting - but I'm sure you knew that already ;) .

All downloaded and installed. Now just gotta spend about an hour getting my controls setup again...

But looks cool. Plus have a few extra planes now if I ever get bored of the A-10. Don't think it'll happen but they are there if I do.

Does anyone know if missions are still compatible? can I move them over from DCS:A-10C ?

Seems to be a bit iffy but I've found the World ME to be temperamental. The Remove group button doesn't work and the full info button on the warehouses only works once.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

I'd recommend the 51 ;). It has improved my GAU gun runs indefinitely in the A-10 as well as my conservation and use of energy ;).

Maybe wait for a sale if you're not super keen on it, but it's an amazing flying experience.

So I downloaded and installed the 1.1.2.1 A10C into DCS world and it asked for my key for my A10C (I assume 1.1.1.1) when I made a fast single player mission, except the key I was putting in was apparently wrong (tried 6 times). So I just hit cancel and it loaded the flight up anyway and away I went. Is DCS World supposed to find the key automatically or do we still have to enter it?

DCS will check for keys for any installed module on mission start. Do you have a module installed that you haven't entered a key for?

Hi @ all,

so I gave the new DCS World module a try possessing the A-10C. All I can say is that this is really a nice work! I totally like it and I am convinced that this is absolutely the right way to do it.

So, thanks ED for giving me these kind of simulations I've been looking for since I was 13 (31 now).

Greetings from Germany!
