Well,

I dont know it for a fact. The englishman that I met in Tampa not many weeks ago may have shown me products that were false. Maybe he wasnt who he said he was. For all I know it could have all been a dream.

But again. I know its there and just let time do its thing. Thats all ive got.

Shut up! :) I don't wanna know proofs I want conspiracy!

And yes I think too it will take a few more months at least bc of Carrier aspects and A2A and ground radar etc.

And ED should take all time they need.

I am happy about all this 3rd party stuff but with the SFM this might just merge FC into DCS and I really rather fly ED's hard elaborated AFM aircrafts.

This is the first time I hear of the 3rd party stuff. But then again it was never mentioned. Just a DCS product.

I would like to see multiplayer back seater take FAC-A duties and just feeding all other aircraft targets via system and having quick procecution of those targets. Sure carrier ops will be fun and challenging Id like to see the air to ground role get real.

Also, like the hog with SADL. The F-18 needs to recieve JTAC info prior to arriving on station and the actual talking. Just my two cents.

Is it wrong to ask for a AC-130 and have integrated wheel attacks!

With "3rd party stuff" I meant all the planes that get build by 3rd party developers now like F15E,F22,F14 etc.

And sure they will be better than FC but not like ED's crafts. Still Awesome that this happens!

@WRAITH: yes if every plane but the one u r working on is getting done by third party developers...what would you do to keep it less obvious? :)

I am excited to the the F-15E. Does anyone know if it will have all the buttons pushes like the A-10C?

Best.

I don't trust third parties that much and never count on them to bring us high fidelity plane.

I am not disputing that there is cause to be skeptical with some '3rd party' vendors but I am also keeping in mind the reputation that comes with them (or does not).

And they will get better and as I understand they can still modify the flight model so maybe they make their own improvements towards an AFM over time.

Iris and Rambam have a proven track record in simulation...Haven't heard of CoreTex.

I'm all for encouraging and supporting devs, but I don't know about this...

Please CoreTex, renders are good, but is there anything else that can prove to us you have what it takes to wear the DCS mantle?

Thanks! My life is officially on hold! :pilotfly:

"A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft."

Wishlist Terrains - Bigger maps

Wishlist Modules - A variety of utility aircraft to better reflect the support role. E.g. Flying the Hornet ... big yawn ... flying a Caribou on a beer run to Singapore? Count me in. Extracting a Recon Patrol from a hastily prepared landing strip at a random 6 figure grid reference? Now yer talking!

Is it time to break out the torches and pitchforks, fellas? We can't have just ANYBODY making our favorite jets! Let's show 'em who they're messing with!

Maybe they're a bunch of rogue military simulator designers that have broke off from the US Navy recently with the sole purpose of developing DCS: F-18E for us guys? Guess we'll have to wait and see.
