112th_Rossi Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Has the total engine power output changed in the latest patch? There are some little things I've noticed. The time for the engines to spool up has decreased significantly, probably by about a third. The actual power output seems greater now. Even with a heavy weapons/fuel load I can reach 200kts very quickly after I have left the run way. I just get the feeling that the aircraft is more of a powerhouse now. Has something changed?

Daze Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Strange I was thinking something similar the other night, I was pulling sustained ~7g turns where I thought before the plane would stall but it was coping ok. Maybe I was imagining things because I hadn't played it a week or so but at the time I definitely believed it felt more powerful/responsive [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] First to Fight, First to Strike.
Eddie Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 What was the air temperature in the mission you were flying? There is a very noticeable difference in performance between warm/hot weather and cold weather in term of both engine performance and general aircraft handling.
