Pyroflash Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 (edited) SR-71 Blackbird, but ED is going to have to add a lot more land and possibly even space.... Space already exists in the engine, however it is extremely unlikely that the Sr-71 or MiG-25R aircraft will ever be developed as flyables simply because of the small terrain areas available. That is of course, unless you feel like flying off the map, which is entirely possible. Actually, I would very much like to see a DCS: Discovery. It might provide some use for those shuttle launch CAPs. Plus it would be a challenge onto itself to find the map again. Imagine docking or re-entry with DCS flight dynamics. Edited June 26, 2012 by Pyroflash If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
BladeLWS Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 A B-1B... yes please! BTW that's a classic print right there, Pre-Start Treaty, you can see external ALCM's on the belly, rock on! I think it would actually be a blast with the B-1B. 600knts at 60ft off the ground with that big bugger. A little like the F-15E only on steroids and protein shakes.
BlueRidgeDx Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 An MC-130H Combat Talon II would be a great choice. They do low level work at night, on NVGs, in Indian Country, inserting SOF personnel and equipment via airland and airdrop. The AC-130U would be my second choice. leafer Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Provided all flying things are made in Russia. Fanboi much? Yes I do. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
KosPilot Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I would like the AC-130 Spectre, ramp mounted 105mm howitzer and all. Imagine taking on crew and blasting away at the enemy from a slight left circuit.

Zakatak Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 What and no V bombers?????? Jet Thunder: Falklands was going to have the Vulcan, but that died off. :( B-1B would probably be my favorite option out of the big jets. The AC-130 Spooky would be cool too, but you and I both know that may attract another crowd with access to their moms credit card.

RIFLE_JTAC_TRAINING Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 AC-130U for sure. But in DCS perhaps a MC-130W would be best with CA coming on line. MC-130W can insert 20-30 SOF troops, provide Non traditional ISR in support and has low colateral damage munitions to support and aerial refuel other aircraft in the stack. Now thats multi tasking!
