The texture is good. But I found some switch covers are black not blue.

I googled many real blue cockpit of ka50 that covers are also blue.

can you tell me if I want to change the color of switch cover, what should I do?\

Hmm. As far as I know (at least the version I got) the covers were blue as cockpit frame's color. Ricardo must have updated the mod. Afterall, you're right. I don't like black covers.

I went through all the dds, but did not find the texture for cover. 1st time to view dds in PS

And you can find the black cover in its mod pictures. So I thought black cover is default in his mod.

I promised myself I wouldn't buy any helicopters ...... then I bought Blackshark and that went quickly out the door .

 

Then I bought the 8 cuz it looks smart and plenty of potential .....

 

Then the next day I bought the Huey cuz that's got potential too .....

 

Then I came across this thread and saw the artwork done by Ricardo & Devrim and thought oh no ..... now I gotta buy the Ka-50 .

The main thing is that Ricardo updated the mod and changed devices textures for a reason. Download this file (Extract it and move the Ka-50 devices.dds file into texture zip). This is from 1st version. But, gauge fonts (digits) are from my Black Cockpit mod (this thread). Maybe Ric wanted to change them. I don't know. If you don't like mine one, (now you know where the covers are placed) you can arrange as you desire.

Followed the installation to the letter....

 

Nothing much to make a mistake about when all you need to do is to copy paste.

I should work with 1.2.8, because 1.2.8 changed nothing in the Shark Pit.

 

Maybe a stupid question..but as you have not mentioned it..did you re-install the Mod after the update to 1.2.8?!

Well yes, I did reinstall, since after the update, it reverted hack to the original

Finally fixed.

 

Reinstalled again to the letter... For some reason it worked this time. Really loved this mod + the high contrast shkval mod, even modded the test screen on the shkval.

Right cockpit wall seems in low resolution. It's because your cockpit res. settings?
