Yeah, this would be an awesome feature. Little things like what the VEAO are doing with cockpit fogging really affect how you employ your aircraft. Especially when you can't see outside because your heater failed.

 

Wet/snowy runways would be awesome. I for one, find the most fun landings to be on thin sheets of snow. You have to be really careful with the brakes, but the landings are so soft, its amazing. Ice on the other hand, has led to some miserable experiences (especially when airports get closed because of it. Not that I would rather land at an airport that was closed because of the ice.).

This is the only real comparable video to use on fast movers. The rain is completly disappeared when the jet have done 100 meters. Waste of valuable development time to implement.

 

All other is airliners with vertical cockpit windows running slow.

Yes that may be. The video is so awesome I always forget to watch for rain.

 

And please try to remember that your eyes are not focusing on the canopy glass, it’s looking out! The pilot also got a helmet visor; he won’t even see the canopy scratches and will most certain not focus on raindrops while doing the takeoff and landings. But of course it would be nice with extra effects when taxiing.

In Afrikaans there is a saying as follows:

 

"Die hoogste bome vang die meeste wind"

 

 

Translated it means that the highest trees catch the most wind. It will happen every now and then. At a guess I'd say insecurity is the least of this particular individuals problems judging by his conduct to date.

 

Another good saying:

 

"Meng jou met die semels dan vreet die varke jou op"

 

Loosely translated it says that if you mix yourself up with the bran then you'll be eaten by the pigs, ie stooping will be bad :D

Well if someone could figure out to swap/animate the canopy layers like 15 fps maybe it would look natural. But my cpu/gpu would burn my house down....I think its works different than what PeterP is trying to do with the static on his nvg mod?!

Hey if they can have canopy reflections then they could have this, just animate the canopy reflection layer and it won't have issues with panning the head
