Russia’s Defense Ministry ridicules NATO’s photo-proof of invasion in Ukraine.

But we have a video-proof!

Russian Defense Ministry: Online list of army units 'relocated to Ukraine' is a fake.

Over 60 Ukrainian troops cross into Russia seeking refuge. Again.

Finland Suspects Russian Airspace Violation

HELSINKI — Aug 28, 2014, 9:35 AM ET

Associated Press

Finland's Defense Ministry said it suspects a Russian military aircraft on Thursday violated Finnish airspace — the third such incident in six days.

Ministry spokesman Max Arhippainen told The Associated Press that a Russian AN-72 transport plane is believed to have crossed into the Nordic country's airspace over the Gulf of Finland for a few minutes.

Defense Minister Carl Haglund condemned the infraction, and said that Finland had demanded an explanation from Moscow.

"Unfortunately, we have no information to indicate that all these (violations) were accidental," Haglund told reporters in Helsinki. "As adequate explanations have not been forthcoming it would appear that a degree of intentionality was involved."

Haglund said that a Finnish Hornet jet was dispatched to intercept the Russian aircraft, but he gave no details.

Finland reported similar incidents with Russian aircraft on Saturday and Monday. Border officials said the first was likely because of a maneuver to avoid a thunderstorm and the other two were still being investigated. He said that normally there are about four to six incidents a year of foreign aircraft entering Finnish airspace without permission.

Block in your country, at the EU all about ok.

Nope. The whole site was down for me as well. Anyway, the high-resolution photos are up again.

@Nomelos

I was joking with the signatures. Lack of signature as a basis for invalidation of the photos? (previously it was 'lack of specific coordinates specified'). Lets be serious here. They're official NATO media. No need to involve NATO fuhrer.

As for the Russian stance, the number of Russian troops has been officially stated by Russian ambassador at UN:

This an unusual photo. PoAF rarely ever flies its falcons with their talons out. AMRAAM's stay in their crates to save on-wing life (and the precious little money we have) except in high risk deployments. You can clearly see its AIM120C (likely C5 variant according to some publications, PoAF isn't publicizing it).
