Tried auto-updating, but got a hash mismatch error after 40 minutes. Now the auto-updater won't do it's thing, just runs DCS World (I am running it from start menu).

I just got an update error, "server overloaded", I hit "Update DCS World" again and now it's sucking it with 1.5MB/s! I am happy for now, hehe.

Run the Repair DCS world in your start menu and try the updater again when it finishes.

I was giving some bad information do not run repair. Just updater.

Why can't ED just give out FC3 as standalone software? I'm not buying it now because of that. Think of how much money they lose, it's not just me.

No need to repair an interrupted download of updates.

Just start update again, it will continue to download where it was interrupted.

Contractual obligations. If we all pledge to cover the legal costs and punative damages award as a result of a breech of contract action then I'm sure a standalone might be considered. Until then, LOMAC is a prerequisite.

 

Honestly, it's no bother ordering a CD from a retailer.

I have been giving some bad information. You do not need to run the repair. That was something I assumed and was wrong. Just run the updater.

Both "failure to donwload an object" and "hash mismatch" mean "server is overloaded" in fact.

It was fixed in one of the previous updates.

Run DCS_updater.exe with the command line repair.

Like "...\DCS_updater.exe" repair
