When you download it, it does say how big of a file it has to download.

We'll think about posting rough estimates.

Thanks guys. Often I want to update in a foreign country using data credit on a local sim card. I'm reluctant to start the process in case I get half way through and screw up my install. I realise my situation's not a common one, but I suspect people would appreciate the extra info anyway.

Great to see the auto-updater resumes without issue by the way.

I tried this with all the settings and drivers I could combine, and no luck. Besides, others are experiencing this too. Don't tell me, that invisibility of half of the instruments is a real-life event, saying things like this will make you look dumb, and clearly you never flew in a real aircraft.. And the HUD? How does it reflects, when it is a pair of DOWN tilted glasses??? No jokes please, can you imagine this in a real combat aircraft? I can't even see a single target on the HUD half of the time. Not speaking of that I can't even see through it. Ridiculous. need to be corrected. It is kind of sad to see that every time a patch solves something it also creates at least that much problems too...

Oh, and this is not even with so called "HDR" on, which is like a permanent nuclear explosion. Its good for movies, but you know, on helmets, there are those huge black glasses you can fold down in front of your face to permit such disturbances, like SUNLIGHT.

Have to agree Lefty (I do not use HDR either), it is absolutely debilitating at times when searching for Radar-IRST contacts on HUD, you are effectively blind and whilst changing HUD colour from default can help slightly, this is also obviously unrealistic as it cannot be done in real life (I will not change it personally) and needs to be addressed.
