Can we start a crazy place to land thread? Sure we've all landed on carriers and ships...but get more adventerous.

I know I've had issues landing on moving ships where it seems to slip a little. Not too bad on the carrier with lots of room, but on the smaller ship you run into things real quick.

Will try to land on some of the bigger planes. Challenge accepted!

I'm especially proud of this hangar landing, as it was during my early days and with the first version of the FM.

Okay, off to find places with a higher craziness factor. :D

haven't landed on moving train yet...not sure if it is even possible.
I tried way back in the begining with the old FM.... went straight through the train like it wasn't there :( Not found a train since to try.

It was possible in the (very) early days of Black Shark, as demonstrated by GA:

When I got it, 1.0.1c was the current version and IIRC landing on trains wasn't possible any longer.

In BS1, it was however possible to land on moving objects like the yellow buses. It wasn't really stable, but there was definitely contact between helicopter and vehicle.

I just tried stuff like that with the Huey, but apparently the vehicles (civilian traffic at least) no longer have any kind of hit-box/collision model. Too bad, would have been extremely funny.

Did someone try to land on a moving ground unit, like a HMTT? That might work. :)

I think there should be a Huey flying tour of Russia and Georgia. I'm sure the BS folks already know some interesting places for heli's to go.
