New patch 1.2.5.16508

Yea I can't wait to see what 1.2.6. does we might haft to uninstall every thing and start over. I wish they would show us what's in the up-date,that way if we don't need it we could decline it. If it looks great and runs great you just want to leave it alone. Don't get me wrong DCS is by far the best flight sim out there...

I am new to this site and forum. I have been looking at the downloads, patches, the modules section and I have not seen the file named 1.2.5.16508.

 

Can someone help me locate this file?

It cannot be downloaded in that manner. It is downloaded/installed by using the AutoUpdate feature from an installed version of DCS World.

:megalol:Here's one for ya I setup a mission cold start on the ramp and a wingman, it was P-51 vs Rus. P-51 and some ground targets. Shot down the P-51 and ground units and headed back to base, Nice landing taxied to the ramp and shut-down. Heard my wingman getting closer as I turned to see where he was " BAM " he had crossed the field and ran into me ( no taxiway ) must of pissed him off. Checked my logbook and yes it gave me the air kill but my wingman got a kill to -Me- .

I thought it would fix debrief so I tried it and at end of mission DCS crashed and I got some kind of message: "Cannot open debriefing" or something like that.

I'm curious as to what ED uses for their version number. This is so different from company to company. The first three parts are obvious, but what is 16508 and 225. CVS revision and build number?

1.2.5 = DCS World Version

.16508 = Build Version

.220 these numbers I believe pertain to AutoUpdater Version, Downloaded Installer Version, Steam version. Or something along those lines.. c0ff explained it a while ago.

A new update was released today (1.2.5.16508.227), but the only change is that it

provides compatibility with the release of DCS World and modules on Gamefly.

Like this update with the A-10A. to me the A version levels the playing field for servers as in my opinion its a closer fit to the Su-25T.

Anyway to roll back to the previous version without re installing v1.2.4?
