Harrysound Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Many times, just opening the file in the mission editor then clicking "save as" and overwriting your old mission fixes it. Ok I just tried my mission again. It works in a single player environment. If I goto multiplayer and try to start a server with it all I get is the loading screen stuck to the monitor with all the action (sounds, everything...even movement and switch noises as I click the mouse) going on behind the loading graphic. Kinda frustrating, makes me not want to make a mission again due to potential waste of time. .....but it's fun.
KennethBF Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 (edited) Or go to your DCS folder. C:\***\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" Mark the DCS_updater.exe and make a linkage of that file to your desktop. Now you can click update as often as you want... Btw: I get the message: Update server can't handle your request... Sigh... Any idea what to do?!?! You onely describe a link to a *.exe file. Starting a exe file through a link or from the main location folder is the same. If the DCS_updater.exe will not update, then it will not update even if you start it through a link or through the cmd (dos promt). Me and some other people has tried a lot of different advices in this thread, and it did not work. Wait 24 hours if none of the other advices works. :pilotfly: If 24 hours is a long wait - then play Total War - Rome II :punk: http://www.totalwar.com/en_us/rome2/ Edited September 6, 2013 by KennethBF Hardware: Mainboard: MSI Z77!-GD65 Gaming, Socket-1155 CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K, Quad Core, 3,5 GHz, 8MB RAM: Corsair Dominator DDR3 2133 MHz 2x4 GB GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 650Ti Boost 2GB

TaliG Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I laughed at that... then realised it could well be.. ;) It looks definitely LOMAC (sea. cockpit views), not DCS, but even if it is LOMAC engine, it should be heavily modified... take a look at those clouds... I mean, we are stack with clouds coming from lomac era (you know this old pillow shape) but those clouds over there are different..
