Speculation is useless, just the facts ma'am:

1. Firm end of March release date announced.

2. Project lead posts about major problems that may delay or even kill the project.

3. ED disables/hides project forum.

4. Cobra frequently posts that an announcement will be made "soon" about the project status, but indicates project will continue and maybe even make original announced release date.

So, either we will be presently surprised to find the MiG-21bis released by March 31st, or get an announcement revising the planned schedule, or this project fades away in to obscurity.

5. The effect of the MiG-21 3rd Party forum being gone: Beczl is silent.

Heh, your conclusions are also speculative.

The fact that ED did that immediately shows damage containment. My bet is on bad news... but I'd like to lose.

So? Wait until it does.

So? So I am loosing confidence. Seems to me that - whatever it is that is going on behind the scenes - is more complicated and/or serious than the few postings we got so far tried to pretend it to be.

edit:

does that sentence make sense? can't think in english tonight ... sry.

Maybe I am missing something from not reading the last 40 pages, but the devs site clearly says March 30. Even if ends up being May 30 it would still be reasonable. This skepticism is strange for lack of better words.

Oh, ok, if it's written on the home page, everything is good then.

Btw, three weeks ago something else was written at exactly the same spot.

In german there is a saying that goes roughly like this: "Paper is patient." - means, just because something is written somewhere does not mean that is a proof for anything.

No, we won't get a "proof", I know that. But a reasonable explanation perhaps of what and why this unrest had to happen? But as three weeks seem not to suffice to straighten out things ... well ...
