Доброго времени Всем! Благодарю, Валеру "хулиган" за то, что пересадил на VD с мета номе и на Quest 3. И каждого из Вас, кто поддерживает тему и делиться опытом! Докладываю: винда11 25h2 Pro, мать msi 850 с Wifi 7 на борту, что позволило включить хотспот на 6Ггц с пропускной 2400мб/с. Av1/200 (минуя роутер) VD Godlike, fps стабилен 72. Dlss4 Ландшафт так красив, что замираю от творения. Лётаю только Су-33 и только офлайн и после обновления от 24.09.2025 ракеты 27-ЭР стали летать, как заяц уходит от лисы на поле (змейкой) В итоге промах. Но больше всего, за пол года,как поменял мать и проц, не получилось убрать шлейфы идущие от ЛА. И третья просьба: когда поднимаю голову на 12, VD выбрасывает из VR и я вижу потолок. (игровая зона без перемещения в окулусе) В окулусе только VD от меты, на компе: DCS, Virtual Desktop Streamer, DLSS Swapper, XRNeckSafer. (система чиста)

Truth to be told, that "25-seconds research" of historic and restored Mossie photos on google reveals that 'reversed' order on port side of the Mosquito was a thing (probably because of limited space between wing and roundel for a two letter code?) and even appears to be much more common than 'standard' one. There's nothing to 'fix' then, unless we want to implement dynamic roundel and letter types & sizes & positions, but that already puts us in anything-but-easy-fix territory. Other DCS warbirds? You might have a point, but I'd argue if it was such an easy thing to implement, it would've been done already.

Потом понял, что с моим рваным графиком отлетать пару миссий за полчаса - самое то. Мне кажется можно было бы сделать так. Точки в труднодоступных местах оставить как есть. Туда кроме как вертолетом не доберешься. Некоторые точки, которые находятся у населенных пунктов и где есть дорожная инфраструктура - отодвинуть подальше.

Hi for no reason, my Pimax Crystal Light simply stop working with DCS tonight. I do the same excate procedure I do for months but tonight, DCS open only in monitors mode. All update are done. Steam is not installed. I try to reinstall DCS and Pimaxplay but no luck so far. Pimaxplay is working, I see the galaxie view. From what I see, my Pimax Crystal Light works well. After much reading, it seems to have conflic with last DCS update and OpenXR and Pimaxplay (quadview). Any hints will be appreciated

For a 3-pointer, sure. For a 2-pointer you want some extra speed. I need to fly her again but a few updates ago I was doing two-pointers without much issue as long as I kept a good speed window above 3-pointer landing speeds but also not so fast that I get airborne again. I want to say it was somewhere around 110-115mph but will have to do a few circuits to double-check.

Not entirely sure if this is related, but there is VR Recenter keybind in DCS, by default this is Numpad 5. So just look straight ahead and press that. Hand tracking in DCS is janky and largely a gimmick. Switches are difficult, and knobs are almost impossible. Enabling this in Virtual Desktop should be pretty easy. I'd need to recheck my settings from when I did this earlier but essentially in the VD settings in the headset you want to tick the box to forward tracking data to your PC, and enable hand tracking.

You could fork it and experiment to see what results you get. The intention was to be $0 (so local) and near-instantaneous response with the improvements made. The latter is really important in the context of gaming. For example, a 2 second sentence on my machine takes about 100ms, this isn't linear so an 11 second sentence can be 170ms. A number of folk also use with Vaicom, this has a very short window from when you release the PTT button until it receives the command. So if the processing takes too long and falls outside this window then Vaicom will discard the command. I haven't look into, or used the online Whisper API, so have no idea what the processing time + round trip latency for this would be. For use cases where this doesn't need to be near-realtime then it might be acceptable.

I disagree with you, it's not true. Before the patch it worked without any problems and it didn't matter what IPD value I set. You did something different with it, although the problem with the visor in VR was solved, this stopped working. Currently it doesn't matter which eye the monocle is set to or what IPD value I set.

I really hope not. You can do that now with FARPs the way they are with a static C-130. The highly dynamic nature of a C-130 as a FARP means that you deploy to the site and set up the fuel points and roll out a very limited amount of available fuel, weapons and maintenance capabilities. Helos FARP there, they leave, you leave. Spawn points are fixed locations. So, as a gameplay and ME device, the C-130 module should not be a spawn point. This represents a capability for complex missions and campaigns that require a good deal of mission planning and communication. Helo pilots should have to find the FARP, get resources and continue the mission. C-130 pilots should be landing at unimproved sites, setting up and remaining for a limited time and getting out quickly lest the enemy find you and kill you, your plane, your crew and be a mission failure criteria.

C-130J as FARP has modern Eagle Claw/Desert One implications. We need a CH-53E! But the Chinook will do the job (although it needs a refueling probe).

Well, now you seem to be confusing detection of radar and detection of launch signals. It's also difficult to answer some of these threads when the poster seems to be at least initially stuck on looking back at older technology and wondering why it doesn't have some of the capabilities of the newer technology. These RWRs were replaced with newer models for a reason. Technology improved and doctrine about the role of the RWR changed. To answer your question about my response. The SA-11 doesn't give a launch warning because any guidance commands are either not in a detectable frequency range or not of the style that the missile launch warning circuitry was designed for. Some of the active homing signals and the SA-15 are happy accidents as far as I am aware. They fall into detectable parameters and could be included later, along with updated threat libraries.
