NS430 is not allowed on MP servers, It used to couse lag, not bringing GPS as integral part of module, selectable with mission editor is quite an issue. Fulcrum role IRL and landscape of DCS make it more focused on PVP IMO.

Hi, I just came back to DCS F18 and I noticed the same problem as OP. When I designate a ground target through the HMD (A/G mode and HMD SOI confirmed), the target is set on the ground as expected but as soon as I looked away for a moment, the target jump to a point far far away (like 650nm indicate in HUD). Next time I will make a Mark point for reliability so as not to ruined my canon run Best regards, Pierre

No crash in that log, so unless not taken directly after a crash then possibly Windows is “killing” the process. Run the Windows DxDiag tool, save the report, and then attach here as well.

Hello, I'm not sure I understand how the green reflections visible near the HUD work (in certain conditions, relative to the sun, for example). When using the HUD's night filter (on a beautiful sunny afternoon), I thought the surrounding reflections would also turn red. So, these reflections come from the reflection of the canopy, if I refer to a previous post on this subject, but why are they green? Finally, I would have preferred these reflections to adapt to the color used on the HUD, green or red depending. Thank you in advance for your clarification on this matter. Sincerely, Michael

That's a very strange conclusion. B650 is still easy to get and otherwise you can get the B850, which is essentially the same chip but with a higher minimum spec for the boards. It seems more like you are rationalizing going to the more expensive boards (which is fine). Keep in mind that the X670E mainly offers more USB and SATA ports. Do you actually need that, because... You absolutely don't need to get a X670E or even a X670 for that.

There is no better CPU. Server-type tasks tend to consist of lots of work that needs to be done in parallel, but not necessarily superfast. That is a very different use case from games, and games are not going to run optimally on such a chip. But I agree with the other people that you have very weird load that doesn't seem consistent with just the game putting load on the CPU. It's not normal for games to fully saturate all cores. Can you post a picture of the performance view when DCS is not running?

Ok, so first i didn't removed mods or did anything discussed since my last message, but after 3 days of flying the cat, in campaign or not, i'm unable to reproduce the issue. The only thing i did is to reboot my computer (Windows 11). Something had to be really messed up on my computer to impact the game like this, without other disturbance.

Hi Pribs86, What do you mean by a gain "Switch"? Are you talking about the gain option in the DATA menu? If that's the case, the gain function on the radar DATA page is there to adjust the video background intensity, i.e. the ground depiction. In GMT mode, there is no ground depiction only the doppler shifted ground contacts detected as bricks. Therefore, the gain function is inoperative in this mode, as well as in the SEA mode. However, you will notice that the menu saves one gain level preference for all radar modes, so this menu is common to all ground radar modes. So it's not INOP, it's not applicable to modes like GMT or SEA where the raw ground returns are not depicted. thank you
