I have noticed that I am not getting any nails on RWR in the MiG-29A when I am trying to notch, so I made a quick action mission to confirm this, and it did... I setup head to head against F-16C north to south direction... I fly towards it with radar being off (by staying in NAV mode which should keep the radar not transmitting) and only at around 70Km distance from the F-16C I get first radar nails on my RWR... so then I turn to the (my) right (which is west in this mission) and I get no RWR nails at all while I keep this aspect... after a little while I can see the contrails of the F-16C flying straight past me (on my left) which tells me I am in the notch and F-16C radar does not pick me up... so I fly like this further until what I thought was me flying almost parallel to the F-16C, so I check the F10 map, and I am not quite parallel, but wide off his nose that if I am to turn into him, his radar would not detect me as I am past 60deg of the F-16C nose, which I check in F10 view again, and yes, aspect shows me being past 60deg (more like 70deg off his nose)... so I turn into the F-16C keeping my radar off and going into optical scan mode, going full afterburner to catch up with F-16C... and again (which I noticed before with this AI) is that somehow the F-16C can still "see" me (mind you he is way up high and I am down bellow so there is no way he would have seen me either by radar (as I am outside the radar scan zone limits) or visually (but AI of course cheats in this aspect, which I knew already)... but he does see me... and of course turns into me, his radar finds me in no time and fires an AIM-120B at me, which of course hits. Please see attached track showing all of this... so there are 2 bugs in this that I can tell straight away.... 1 being MiG-29A Fulcrum RWR which should, but does not, see any radar signal on the left/right aspect, the 90 degree zone lights never light up and no RWR sound can be heard... but they should... and second is this AI radar being able to "see me" (or other a/c) when I am outside the radar scan zone limit, as well as, what I consider realistic, condition where I am way bellow him and to his left/right-rear position where I think I should not be spotted, but AI MiG-29A Fulcrum SPO-15 No radar detection Bug & AI Radar Scaning Area Bug.trk

With the upcoming addition of the F-35 and its advanced features like the AN/ASQ-239 ew suite bringing offensive electronic warfare, it could be a good time to introduce specialized electronic attack aircraft like the EF-111 and/or EA-6B to DCS.

One example is AWAC/Overlord is not reachable on the channel indicated on the kneeboard. You need to manually set 300.000 to ask for Bogey Dope. Don't know if there are other like this one, but this is the one that is a bit bothering. Unless this is on purpose?

I think only Nevada and Caucasus still run on baked lights to some degree. On both maps the airfield ramp lighting is baked. Not sure about street lights though...

Слышал подобное, но не то чтобы "зря затеяли", а то что во многих аспектах МиГ-23 был лучше 29го. Сегодня вот ещё и про КОЛС узнали. Но я думаю просто, дело конечно не в том что "зря затеяли", а в том что 29му не повезло родиться в тяжёлое время, для великой страны. На закате так сказать

Well, if you use the "destroy scenery" trigger, it does remove the light, are atleast on Caucasus, Syria and Sinai... I honestly tought that DCS now run on dynamic lightning on all maps / modules... guess i'm wrong. Hopefully in two weeks then'

As title states, tracking target in STT lock, radar in Auto mode, initially radar calculates Rmax Rmin and R no escape but then all calculation disappear even though STT never dropped. Понял. Я неправильно назвал, в мануале оно зовётся «круг управления». Его же надо в центре держать для полета по заданной траектории? Дело в том, что при даже небольшом отклонении от заданной траектории, оно выдает команды достаточно энергичного возврата к заданной траектории, с большими доворотами, если пытаться его держать в центре все время. Оно так и работает или я неверно понимаю как им пользоваться?

Говорят (чур меня), что 29 вообще зря затеяли... )) Не спроста же, американцы щедро оплачивали распил 23 и 27 в 1990-е, так?

Hallo zusammen . Habe seit gestern Schwierigkeiten mit der Anmeldung DCS in Steam . Nachdem ich das Spiel starte wird der Bildschirm schwarz u. das Spiel scheint nicht mehr zu laden . Nach mehrmaligen Startversuchen geht es irgendwann . Folgendes habe ich schon gemacht : das Spiel auf Fehler überprüft , fxo u. methashaders2-Ordner gelöscht . Ich habe seit ein paar Tagen eine Fritzbox 7690 und einen Glasferanschluss . Voher mit dem Telekomrouter u. DSL Anschluss lief es . Ich habe auch mal eine Log-Datei angehängt . dcslog.txt

There is only 1 A/A WYPT reference on the radar page and that's the top left. You're thinking of the SA page, which already does exist and gives both BRA and BE for selected targets on it.

Мыло удалось в значительной степени победить переходом на MSAA. Все же "старый" DLSS ощутимо портит картинку. Завтра ещё поеду рецепт для изготовления линз возьму - внезапно вспомнил, что у меня разница в остроте зрения левого и правого глаза ощутимая. Полагаю, магнитные линзы с диоптриями ещё больше мыло приберут, хотя уже и так неплохо:)
