what about make it from the f10 menu talk to the ground crew to lower the elevator when the player is on the elevator

What keeps me from doing it is the necessary infrastructure update (mobo+ram) that comes with it. If it was the swap of the CPU, I would certainly do it. It is just a gut feeling, but I don’t really want to switch to DDR5. And if I’m honest to myself, an upgrade isn’t really economically justifiable.

The Warthog is mapped automatically to all correct switches, and according to your screens all seems correct. APU on-off is the correct binding as the Warthog has two and three position switches where only one side is electrically connected. Two sides for 3 position switches of course. Throttles all the way back, not in cut-off, is idle. You can even see button 29 and 30 are correctly bound. When you move the throttles out of cut off, you are in idle. Somewhere in the general settings, there is an option called sync with HOTAS at mission start. Test it both on and off you see if your experience gets better. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Here you go. I have a few but this was the last one after I ran the repair. dcs.log-20250821-202548.zip Thanks for the help by the way!!

I hadn't seen this mentioned yet, but I actually visited EAA this year. Easy enough for me to do, since I'm a 15 minute drive away. Some of what I've recorded... One thing I can say, is that the F-35 is extremely LOUD. I never heard anything like it before, and I've seen plenty. 20250725_145316.mp4

From 14900K to AMD 9950X3D Is Lack Luster
Raven (Elysian Angel) replied to The_Cokester's topic in VR Bugs
As I mentioned before in another thread, I went from a 5900X to 9800X3D and the performance upgrade is eyewatering in games that are CPU-heavy (not just simulation games but also ARPGs for example especially in endgame). P.S. I kept the same graphics card but upgraded everything else - it was well worth it. -
Your DxDiag report file showed the below: Kernel Events The following kernel-events have been detected: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_BLACK_SCREEN_LIVEDUMP,VIDEO_MINIPORT_BLACK_SCREEN_LIVEDUMP Remove any overclocking (including XMP). Run SFC and DISM to check your Windows., Check for any updates of your BIOS or chipset drivers. For the SFC and DISM commands referenced above open a command prompt as administrator and run the below two commands separately, restart your PC afterwards: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth sfc /scannow Your DxDiag report contains a mix of LiveKernelEvent errors with the codes 1a8 and 1b8, further reference here on these: https://windowsreport.com/hardware-error-1a8-1b8/ Will need the DCS log file to see if anything else shows up.

Hi Qcumber, many thanks for your kind advice. And yes, this was the issue. May I ask what is the impact of this setting? BR Achim

That's fine, while some of us don't use the menus. We speak with the ATC. I'm all for this option in the ME though. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

You have file extensions turned off in Windows. Attach that text document named just "dcs" after you get a crash, the one above the "dcs.log.old" you have highlighted in your screenshot.

Please share. I'm always looking to improve. I'm extra interested if you've fully worked out magnetic declination for all maps/times. I guess I will make Mi-24 the next target airframe

DCS Su-22 by VinntoreZ - Mod Developement Thread
jonni_j replied to VinntoreZ's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Работа гигантская и великолепная! Я с нетерпением жду релиза! Только один вопрос про это "мутное" стекло прицела спереди оно такое и должно быть? или это временно, или в игре там все лучше видно чем на видео? -
While this did not eliminate the problem it reduced it to the point where its no longer WAY worse than the expected amount of mura. It is now just barely more noticeable than the mura (which is not bad... well coming from a g2 anyhow) It can now be forgotten after a few minutes and wont remind you its there every time you check gauges. Wish it was gone but this will suffice for now. Thank you!

According to what I found on web there were some parts changed in newer revisions, maybe it caused the issue, because in older reviews this was not an issue, struggling with it too now. If you leave a throttle for 5-10 seconds at the same position - your next move will require a lot of force to get it moving, then it's fine until you leave it again. Even if I tune the friction knob to the point where the handle just slides off by itself - still gets stuck if left 10+ secs. Tried a grease that came along with my Gunfighter in a package - did not improve much. Maybe I need to retry and start from the just few droplets like it's displayed on a screenshot from reddit post above.

Pimax Crystal Super render resolution is 6280 x 6240 per eye. So any percentage number must be calculated from this. You can go very low on your peripheral resolution with the Super. The eye tracking is excellent. I think I ended up with the same numbers as in this video more or less. No shimmering visible Sorry I can’t answer about comparison to the Quest Pro.

F86 SABRE JET COCKPIT REPAINT. BLACK VERSION
Saguanay replied to akarsdcs's topic in DCS: F-86F Sabre
Looks good. That would be quite a hot cockpit in the sun. Hope the air works as it should. -
It is frustrating as I look at a few yt reviews, take a look at a few other sites and then always run across a few individuals who had issues with xyz board. Yes nothing is perfect, but I need stable with a bit of room for growth re gpu and m.2 slots. It takes me a good while to save up, so, I have get things right first time. I'd read on a few sites that X670E handles the lanes and has more lanes as well than the B850. I remember reading about the gigabyte gpu board cracking issues and that put me off them in general. I would happily go with asrock once they prove their boards are no longer cooking the X3d chips. Hopefully AMD/Asrock are working on it. And for those who are interested, HUB does a review on the B850. The motherboard boxes surrounding Steve were pretty funny. VRM temps at 24:57

Great post and I get a lot of that, the bottom line whether its a pitch issue for the rpm, the plane is slow and underpowered. Here since you like to try it out, I spent 3 hours yesterday, taking every prop plane to 20k feet, for the american planes I kept fuel about 50%, with 50% fuel the corsair still struggles, its hard to get to 20k feet with NOTHING. I took various options, with drop tanks and without, every other plane including the spitfire can scream to 30k feet pretty easily. Not the corsair, I think I hit 25-27k feet and thats it. As for top speed, its hands down the slowest, I tested all planes at 10-15k feet same map same conditions. and if the plane has wep, were using it and even the corsair with water injection, A COMPLETE PIG!! Can we just agree that it needs some engine management and that its easily 50+ MPH slower then every other game that has this plane (not many) and extremely underpowered . When the service celling is over 40k feet and this thing can barely get to 30k, there is something wrong!
