Ohh okay. I should ask the guys with the VR1 if they notice it. I'm hoping at some point it can be resolved. People are losing their **** over mura and totally prospective buyers are freaking out worried its a deal breaker and then everyone failing to notice this huge square in the center of their FOV?

I'd say that what you're looking for is the Tu-16 or to some extent the Tu-22M3.

If you had a stable 90fps, then why upgrade at all? Did you expect to magically get 900fps?? The 14900k being pretty powerful, you may not see an improvement with VR's framerate cap of 90. But no way in hell will there be a drop in fps. There is some issue with your PC, plain and simple. DCS with my 9950x3D is silky smooth, except of course when the server itself lags, or Chinooks are near me. In fact I can use the non x3D core to do software encoding for recording in OBS (non VR), with no ill effects at all. Let's start with some basic questions: Did you perform a fresh installation of Windows on your new PC, or simple insert the old SSD and boot from it directly Did you update the BIOS and chipset drivers? Did you run any benchmarks after building the PC to check of defective components? What is your DCS benchmarking methodology? What power plan have you applied for DCS in Process Lasso, along with affinity?

thats not the throttle, thats the collective. The throttles are the round yellow handles right next to the collective. If youre pointing to the roll on/off grip, thats the corrector. Try lifting the collective a little further back. -

Have you guys tried the new cockpit texture options in the special options category? I am not sure when they put those options in, but they work great. I had a pretty big custom mission with a lot of units running 4k and recording at the same time and had an acceptable frame rate. I could not even play 4k and record a solo flight before. FYI, this was with the cockpit textures on high and the cargo bay on medium. I am not sure why anyone would need all that fidelity in the cargo bay anyway, but I guess the option is there when we have 128gb graphics cards?

On a multi-player map, after a time being on, weapons (guns, bombs and rockets) stop scoring hits and doing damage. It's like they pass through the map. This is not the first time this has happened, and usually it's after I've been on the map for and hour or two. debrief.log

PGM 5 is the least accurate precision factor, PGM 1 is the most accurate.

@STONE SKY Mission 12: Played it three times to make sure it wasn't a one time thing. The A-10 and F/A-18 went to go land after the MiG-21 was destroyed. The F/A-18 landed south of the objective area at H4, and the A10 landed north of the OBJ near H11. Not sure if there is a second SA11 in the area but I was getting pinged by one. When trying to clear out target area 2 it states you're supposed to clear out the area with the fixed-wing, but they landed. I just declared Winchester and RTB'd. Single ship 64 VS a ton of armor after using a majority of the hellfires at target 1 is no bueno. Ended up with a score of 75/100. Would also recommend maybe putting the SA-19 tunguksa ROE to react to threat or set up a trigger zone acting as a engagement radius as it's missiles are much faster then a hellfire. I can foresee a ton of players being shot down from it.

Do I understand correctly that you have enabled SSAO and quadviews together? Do you have any graphical glitches regarding the quadview rectangle resolution boxes? Because I isolated SSAO to be the primary cause of the glitch on my system. 5600X and 4070ti. It’s a pity because I love SSAO. What about you Morat? Do you have SSAO enabled? I noticed wind on the "Ferry Flight" mission on the ground level was set to 7 knots. Took that one down to 0, and also the next level up at like 3 to 5,000 (cant' remember which) - still no joy. However, I went and set all wind speeds to 0 knots and I can also report normal taxi.

That makes sense for something like an airliner but in a combat sim you need to be able to look all the way to your 6:00 Your entire view needs to move in a sim like this. In this case the HMD being locked to the center of your screen is replicating how it would work IRL. A fighter plane simpit with a fixed screen like that would need to have a dome projector. I suspect those aren’t too common outside of pro simulators.

I have no idea if this will help or even applies to you. I remember a Youtube vid byJay2cents he does computer reviews and such. With the newer AMD X3D cpu's you needed to have windows 11 power plan set to Balanced. If you have high performance it holds back the cpu.. Easy enough to try J

In HAD mode with HTS pod, it indeed does find it's target, but always precision factor PGM goes straight to max accuract (5) and it drops from 5 to 2, and stays at 2. The harm still finds the target with pin point precision. There must be something wrong with F-16 HARM system, and how it shows up the precision number. The bug has also been reported here in weapons section. Simple track file attached. a2g_harm_accuracy_test_2.miz Not sure which fault is it, but it seems thats on F-16 side and its HTS system. And it's the same with any radar that HTS is detecting.
