  2. yeah i already tried FSR4 via optiscaler however i face an issue where reshade wont work when i use optiscaler. If you could help me get reshade and optiscaler to work id appreciate it
  3. Thanks !
  4. Depends alot if you fight AI or PvP, and depending where you hit them.
  5. F-14 Basic Course! - Starting September 6th @2000 UTC - Learn all the essentials you need to purr and pounce on your enemies in the Tomcat! https://discord.gg/takeflightdcs Please note that this group is led by a group of flight enthusiasts, and none of us claim to be experts!
  6. Well, the k4 and f4u are total different birds compared to the D9, which is rather similar to the anton. The k4 is nimble and turns well, but is rather shakey. and the corsair behaves similar to a p47, being a pregnant cow. I fly the D9 almost exclusively and have little problems against other planes tbh. With the right tactics of course. https://www.youtube.com/@oinkpoink My collection of D9 flights on Project overlord so far. Commented videos.
  7. What do you mean it always scans the ground? This can't be, radar doesn't know what the ground is. It is scanning what the radar sees in it's the gimbal limits (120deg vertical and horizontal), and no matter where the aircraft is pointing. And based on what is sees, it maps on the MFD. If sky, it's all black, same as the sea, all else has some different gray color variations. The question is where is the radar pointed when in Ground mode?! In A2A you can manually set where does it look, by changing elevation, but in the A2G? Is it pointed straight ahead, is it level with the aircraft, or is it pointing downwards, towards the ground, if so whats the angle (based on level flight, or based on aircraft direction)? Maybe @RogueSpecterGaming can exapin in more professional way.
  8. I'm not even trying to make it another "Why no FF redfor?" I m just giving valid reasons, and those are legal, or unwillingness of ED employees to break local law, and this is understandable, I just made a reminder, that no lack of information or "secrecy" of those planes are reasons, this would be a thing, for not having most modern chinese jets, where we really struggle even with finding of cockpit photos, not even talking about performance charts or weapon capabilities. OTOH I firmly belive in future modern FF "redfor" but most likely it will be based on version used by some export customer, maybe Indian, or Maleysian, maybe Algierian, but I wouldnt expect actual workflow or specific detailed informations about avionics being modelled, as I dont expect from F-35 or even some planes we already have in game already. If ED was talking about aiming at 90% realistic Hornet, I think that 80% realistic Su-30 is possible, just not based on Russian version.
  9. Because, just like in the A-10C, this was the original way to change the laser code of the weapon before the new Fuze Menu feature was introduced.
  10. Thanks, good to know. At the landing procedure I had to contact the tower via F10 button and its not working. The towers voice is not to hear. It would be better to check in at the tower with pressing the space bar. But I got 100% Points, thats good. Thank you!
  11. I guess I'm super confused because I am pretty sure, though not 100% (because it's been a while), that I have changed laser codes in the air for the weapons and LSR and have had successful impacts with the F/A-18C. The F-16 for sure does not allow code changes in flight for the ordnance as they have to be changed manually on the ground. Forgive my tone here, but if you can't change weapon codes in the air in the F/A-18C then why is the option there on the stores page? I have attached a track. Thank you everyone for your input! 12. I'll give it a try......thanks for all the effort!! Much appreciated.

  14. Hello! I did not block the radio menu, there is no such function in the editor. In the campaign there is no need to use the radio menu, since the radio communication is completely recreated by triggers. You just need to set the desired frequency to hear the controller's dialogue with you. In mission 7 - TOP SECRET. You take off and land on a FARP, which is not a FARP programmatically. In other words, there is no ATC DCS. But this does not affect the radio menu button.

  16. Продам за символическую плату.
  17. I set this up by using DCS’s export data (Export.lua) to read cockpit light ID's. ID's (gear, AoA, strobe, afterburner etc.) are sent out to a small Node.js bridge. (working on powershell atm.) The bridge converts them into simple WebSocket messages. On the SignalRGB, I wrote a custom HTML canvas effect. That effect listens to the data and lights up my RGB. (Each lights position can be arranged right inside the SignalRGB canvas) So when gear moves, AoA blinks, or burners fire, my desk lights do the same. Still tweaking, i managed to get less latency today (50-100 ms)
  18. Build realistic Ocean surface by FumeFX
  19. Whole earth technology has a true realistic curved terrain and by the Wags talk on your last video, we will fly from one to another map.
  20. Honestly, I don't think so. None of the above fixes your missing CCD and SMT being set to OFF. I wonder what else is wrong with your Bios if those obvious things are wrong. My recommendation, show us another screenshot of your Taskmanager while you are idling on Desktop. It should show 32 ( thirtytwo ) cores, not 8 !!. I expect more being mistuned, looking at the whole picture.
  21. Today
  22. Hey @currenthill, What about all the other systems described here? Thank you!
  23. I stopped the work on the mods for now. The highskid was ok for photo flying and landing on ground, but not on ships etc. It obviously needs a new collision model for the UH-1, which I did just very basically, no damage model or other functions associated with it. In the end its not usable as plug and play mod, although it looks quite cool I think. Perhaps inspiration for someone else? But - thanks much for the interest.
  24. I don't know it's properties except it's mounted on T90 chassis. But I just fired some 200+ 30 mike mike from the M230. And all i got was a bit of smoke. Even if the chassis could take that. I doubt the rocket launcher part could.
  25. Thank you. You are absolutely right that in this campaign the player carries a lot of responsibility. The campaign is completely different from a typical scripted one and is specifically designed for players who, in addition to flying, are also interested in planning missions and assessing the bigger picture in order to define and achieve strategic objectives. Fortunately, there are dozens of scripted campaigns available if mission planning doesn’t sound appealing. The ED team has now reviewed the campaign and some fixes have been made according to their requests. It looks like things are moving toward release.
  26. I have had this setup with DOF H3 and Pimax Crystal Light for a year now and have some input: First I think it's very important to also get a motion compensation device if you are in VR. There are a few ways to do this, but I chose the Witmotion sensor that SRS (software vendor) recommends. Without the motion compensation you will get strange motions around inside the cockpit since the headset will pick up the headset moving around in the room in the real world while you are actually sitting relatively still in your cockpit seat in the virtual world. Some remarks on the OP input: >Maybe it was the tuning of the software, but both left me a little underwhelmed on the first try in each. It was less about the amount of roll, but more the speed of response. Neither felt truly natural, e.g. the squat you get under breaking whilst driving The speed and reaction is actually very fast/strong. This can and must be tuned. I experienced the whole rig jumping around on the floor when for example crashing because I had too high speed. There are many sliders for max angel, speed, boost, smoothing etc. and this needs to be tuned. (There are some example profiles to be found, but not many for DCS. Hopefully more people will have this setup over time and we will see more examples.) So I don't think you should be worried about the speed of the response. Of course it's electric motors and some inertia is unavoidable, but I have not experienced this as a problem. >Whilst I wasn't that impressed with either DOF unit whilst using a monitor, that impression changed when in VR, which I got to use with FS2020. I can't explain why, but when I was in VR, the feeling of immersion from the DOF was significantly more effective The combination of visual input in VR and physical input combined is very strong. A complete roll or loop won't feel totally realistic of course, but banking and pitching feels very real. Even though the banking angle of the rig is much less than in the VR world the combination makes it feel very real. Having a motion rig without VR don't make sense to me, at least not for flightsims. Below you see some of the parameters that can be tuned for the motion part. a27d24_39919c0801394f14b84b2ad3909056a7_mv2.avif
