Hi TOViper! After pressing the park brakes, I always try to release both pedals simultaneously, and the park brake is still disengaged. (I have also tested releasing them one by one, and of course, this results in the park brake being disengaged.) ------ However, I have discovered the reason and it is not an issue with the ajs37 module: I tried to bind a keyboard key to brake and keep the brake axis binding. By pressing the keyboard key to finish the action of applying the left and right brakes, if I then pull up the park brake lever and release the keyboard key, the park brake will still be disengaged. Remove the brake axis binding when I use the keyboard key to brake. Now, it works. Based on the above results, I went to check my pedal device. I did find a problem: when releasing status, the raw output signal of the pedal device will jump rapidly within a very narrow range, which means even if I don't step on the brake pedals, it will produce very small output. This led to a positive result when AJS37's park brake detected whether the brake pedal had been stepped on, resulting in the disconnection of the park brake. After knowing the reason, I began to try to solve this problem by calibrating the trim, setting dead zones, and adjusting the output curve. Thank you to everyone who has helped me with this thread reply. Good luck!

Yeah, exactly. I had these questions half a year ago. So, you're not the only one thinking the same things ... And when I saw the new message, I was happy, I thought he wrote something new.

I believe the best course of action, is to continue bringing it up tbh. That is the only way positive change has been made for systems in the past.

You're actually better off to NOT run it as administrator. Running it as admin can cause permissions issues.

DCS Su-22 by VinntoreZ - Mod Developement Thread
Cepacol replied to VinntoreZ's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Is there a chance we already have an AI version ready to deploy in theaters of operations? It would boost immersion and curb the hype for this upcoming mod. So cool! -

Is there any way with Dynamic Cargo to have it be detected by a zone script? ie. Player spawns the dynamic cargo, but when they drop it off, I could use a script that it has been dropped of in a zone. The only function I can see in the ME is 'CARGO UNHOOKED IN ZONE' but it requires the name of the cargo for the script to work. If its Dynamic Cargo, there is no name. I'm trying to create a mission where the player must transport 10 units of cargo to a FARP (Specifically, trying to use the new UH-1H internal cargo added in the last patch). However, I can't figure out how to trigger a 'Mission Complete' when 10 units of cargo have been delivered. Thanks!

FARP Requirements - have these changed?
SimMotionTuning replied to Mr_sukebe's topic in Mission Editor
Ensure there are no enemy units within 1 nm of the FARP or it will be considered contested and the Ground Crew will not reply to comms. -
Interesting why the ALR-56C on the Eagle works completely different than the ALR-56M in the Viper. We will see how the C-130 ALR-56M works when it gets pushed out. The amount of logic that is not used with the creation of the ALR-56M in the Viper is fascinating. I am sure both sides is getting tired of this issue being brought up but it is hard to not continue to talk about it when it is a legitimate issue that many people have brought up time and time again.

investigating mk82, 83 bombs explosion radius too large after update?
Nealius replied to SalakauHeadman's topic in Weapon Bugs
Adding more data to the pile. A clump of Mk82s, some airbursting due to the first impact, 100% destroyed an entire SA-3 site without actually hitting any units. (The P-19 in the top right was taken out earlier by a HARM). I expect shrapnel to shred the track radar and the nearest launcher. I expect perhaps some damage to the other 3 launchers but not 100% damage. At this point it's like an arcade game. Toss a Mk82 with a DSU-33 within a 150m radius of a SAM site and you can take the entire battery out with ease. -

Yes Sir. Just checked it again and it is still set to run as Administrator. -
Except it doesn't, particularly on bolters.

Gripenlover99 started following DCS Roadmap Suggestions
-
I think that an official roadmap on the main DCS website for both DCS core and the various modules made by ED would be a nice addition. Not everyone has the time to dig through the forums to find a current roadmap for what they are looking for. It would be so much easier to quickly find exactly what roadmap you are looking for in one place.

Sorry if my english is not up to par to report this because I'm not familiar with the terminologies with the different tracking and pointing methods. If you order George to search the area, in this case "forward area", then slave him to a point before ordering him to scan for targets on that point. The TADS/George will get stuck in a looped glitch. It wasn't like this prior to the latest patch, I think, but definitely there is a bug. Shown here in a unlisted video (youtube). Need the link to access or watch it embedded here: The track file came from the flight on the video. Track and mission file attached bellow. Simple Caucasus mission in air start made in mission editor. The issue can be shown on the track or verified in less than 2 minutes. Steps to reproduce: Forward area search. Point, using the button you order George to fire a weapon - > Slaving George to the current point of interest, in this case Waypoint 1 where there are a few armored vehicles). Search, using the same button above, after TADS is slaved to the POI (waypoint 1 in this case). Glitch occurs like George is changing TADS FOV indefinitely while scanning the forward area at the same time. This does not occur if you order George to slave the TADS to a point from a fixed TADS or with TADS somewhere else but searching the forward area. Scan at point after forward area search bug.miz Point Bug.trk

You are complicating things unecesarily, terrains have a single kneeboard section each and that is more than enough, each mission can already have their own kneeboard (plus one for each aircraft type) so more than enough already ... having DCS "remember" my sticky dividers, per aircraft, is what's still missing.

I would need to be a 3-dimensional sorting at least: per aircraft per terrain per mission .. plus with an override per sorting criteria: all aircrafts, all terrains, all missions

I mean... sudden death is something that can occur on a person, but is the CPG (or the AI buddy on the Apache) meant to be on the system failures table? I thought it was related to the aircraft only. Not even ordinance are affected by the random failures, afaik. Restarted the mission and it was fine, meaning it most likely was the random failures being triggered. Random failures was turned on.

Does anyone happen to have instructions for setting up a GTR Motion Platform with SIMTOOLS to DCS? I am struggling! Thanks in advance!

I would be happy with just a small improvement of the "sticky note page divider thingy" .... to have DCS memorize my KB dividers on a "per aircraft" basis, from one DCS session onto the next.

What capabilities should we expect from the F-104?
fausete replied to Hatman335's topic in DCS: F-104
Hi, it's actually being based on a German F-104 G Consortium. -
Control over the failures for the F16 is not implemented yet in that tab. Not a bug, just a feature to yet be created.

My Grandads aircraft taking on fuel. Experimental days. That one’s still submerged in Norway. Can we have both please
