Haven't "flown" the F-4 in a couple of months now and decided to revisit this excellent module... Would it be possible to adjust the trim speed to a lower setting? A tap on the trim switch results in a rather large control surface deflection hence I can never find a "perfect" (pitch-) trim setting. It often under- or over-shoots. Thanks

Hi, we have tested our public builds and flaps are working as expected with controller and keybinds. Please double check for any strange keybind issues, if you still have problems include a short track replay thank you

Missing USSR airbases in the upcoming Afghanistan map
Ronin_Gaijin replied to Ronin_Gaijin's topic in Wish List
Translation: The war could not wait, and the 156th regiment at the Mary-2 airfield was transferred from air defence to frontline aviation, promptly retraining pilots from Su-15 interceptors to Su-17M3. Measures to strengthen the strike capabilities of the aviation of the southern districts also affected other regiments and were part of the reforms undertaken in the Air Force. From December 1, 1983, both regiments were united into the 34th Air Division of Fighter-Bombers of the Air Force of the TurkVO, the 217th Airborne Division was also merged here, and a year later the formation of a powerful unit was completed by the 735th Bomber Regiment from Karshi on Su-24. DCS Su-22 by VinntoreZ - Mod Developement Thread
endl3ss replied to VinntoreZ's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
I can't believe I didn't know about this mod before yesterday! Been saying that I'd give my left nut for a proper SU-22M4 module over the last few years, and now here it is. This looks absolutely awesome. Good work, I can hardly wait for it to be released. Watched the videos yesterday, and it was pure joy. Amazing work. One of my all-time favorite aircraft, bad-ass looking as it always was. Great work so far! -
Hi, we do have a report for this, it is lower priority however. thank you

TM Warthog, using the "Silence" push button on the throttle base for the gear up/down toggle on all my modules which have retractable landing gear. In the F-16 (and F-4E) a single press of this button is somehow detected twice, causing the gear lever to move up then immediately back down again. This does not happen in any other modules except the F-16 and F-4E, which tells me there may be something in the controller lua code that allows rapid presses of the same button to be recognized. In contrast, other modules won't recognize such rapid signals and have a "cool-off time" between each keybinding press. I know trim speeds and such can be modified in luas, can this "cool-off time" between button presses be modified in a lua somewhere as well?

List of Vacant Models (II)

Didn't even know they produce their own weapons. I thought they just use russian/chinese/american/european weapons. -

Well the pictures show a hump, which means this departs from 9.12a airframes...

As far as I know, the main goal of the upgrade is to improve navigation accuracy. One or more sides were equipped with 1 MFD. There were shots of the X-29T suspension (in the factory shop). All Western weapons are integrated without any significant modifications to the aircraft. Even the satellite navigation antennas are located in the pylons.

Hi, please include a short track replay showing the issue, if you can do it on the Caucasus terrain that would be optimal. thank you

Thanks for your help! I tried , was definitely better, around 50-80 FPS , very unstable though. Whereas around 200 in SP .. As an example , on the contention server , I play with a friend he has a little better CPU but lesser GPU and he runs a lot better than me

I would prefer first completely functional basic 9.12a. As for Mig-29MU1/MU2, I am kind of skeptical, since cockpit looks exactly the same and it appears they have used "hacked" avionics to place those missiles in place of R-27P. Over the years UKR did offer lot's of upgrade marketing material for soviet stuff (ewr radars, missile seekers, SAM upgrades), but we saw very little substance of those upgrades in reality. Given the level of corruption in ex-Soviet republics (including Russia), doubts arise over actual scope of work. All things I found so far mostly pointed out to improving reliability of avionics (e.g. radar) + adding limited multi-role capabilities, similar to Russian upgrade packages offered around 1996 minus the R-77. Around that time they may have been even collaborating together on this. Maybe the existing software got some improvements over the soviet one, but if this is MU2, then we are not talking about large functional differences, hence it may be a low hanging fruit once the 9.12a is completed. Also, ED might decide to offer this as paid upgrade to a basic module.

Unfortunately, DCS is transitioning from a "cockpit simulator" to a "bug simulator." Let's hope it doesn't become a "fraud simulator." I don't understand how is it possible to discuss about Dynamic Campaign in the forum if users don't even care about the current bugs. I'm moving to Falcon BMS, even if I'll miss the graphics.

Like I said, I'm not criticizing your choice. I'm just talking about the reality that quite a few people are looking for a bargain, and those people are susceptible to overly rosy descriptions of products, which can result in them making poor buying decisions. So we should be careful not to overhype a product that doesn't deserve it.
