Light attack aircraft for counter-insurgency mission
Daemoc replied to Supernova-III's topic in DCS 2.9
The C-101 can carry a ludicrous amount of fuel internally. One of it's major design considerations was range. I think this is the most overlooked aspect of this aircraft. For a quick strike mission, 50% fuel is still way too much. IIRC, one of the first missions I did in the C-101 was over two hours and was done on 50% fuel. This was all low level. This cannot be stressed enough. Fuel has to be a major consideration on that aircraft every mission. Don't look at the percentages, calculate the fuel weight. -
Save yourself the headache and install SRS. DCS VOIP has been broken since release in one way or another. Has never worked properly for me. Amazing that SRS, created and maintained by a single individual, simply "works" and ED can't or won't fix theirs. Waste of ED dev talent as far as I'm concerned.

Fly the Corsair more like a modern fighter, keep the speed up and use the vertical.

Так большинство карт пролетаются полностью за 20-30 минут, еще и назад время есть.

Great ! I guess it's in Submod V1.0 ? 1st page is fine for me. -
Hi, I tried using the 32MB paging file, but unfortunately the DLL continues to crash. I'm attaching the new log file for your review, and in the meantime, I'll try other things in the hope of resolving the issue. Regards dcs.log

You have been told repeatedly why we are not commenting on this. It's a legal matter and will continue to address it through the proper channels. I understand that can lead to all these assumptions you continue to post, but none of that should be taken as fact, but rather your 'feelings' on the subject. Turning this into a public fight, trying to leverage public support as a weapon, is NOT the proper way to handle this, and what you suggest would only do that.

need track replay Throttle at max power at hot start on the ground
MAXsenna replied to Logan54's topic in MiG-29 for DCS World
Not sure what you mean by this. I'm asking if you have double checked if you have conflicts. No worries. You might find my questions stupid and irritating, while there are reasons for me asking. Not many users have reported this, so I'm just trying to give my recommendations for what have solved it for others in similar cases. For many FC modules I just do what @draconus suggested, to move the throttle all the way forth, and then all the way back. Can't remember last time I had this issue. You have proved a track. Lest hope ED finds the solution. Cheers! -

Fired up DCS today and: 1. Had to sign in manually. 2. All my control bindings vanished. Now I have to rest them manually. WTF???

Be careful with buying memory to upgrade later, I had 32 gig of corsair 5600 DDR5, about a year later I bought the exact same 32 gig memory, even the bar code was the same on the packaging, but when I installed it, it had Hynix chips, and my older memory had Samsung chips, I now had 64 gig but it wouldn't even run at the basic speed of 4800 I think it is. I had to return the 32 gig Hynix memory and buy 2X32 gig to give myself the 64 gig I wanted. It was something ridiculous like 48% off so it wasn't too bad. The best thing is, now I can F10 to the map as many times as I like without the game crashing or freezing.

As far as I know, this is not related to the script itself, but with TM driver configuration. The fact is that once a TARGET script run (either via Script Editor or GUI editor), the driver automatically "shutdown" the physical devices so they are not visible anymore in games... In your cas, it seem that the Throttle was not properly "shutdown" and still available along the virtual device. I can't remember where, but I believe remembering that there is an option, maybe within TARGET editor, to allow physical device to not be disabled. You may look for that, or, maybe, simply purge then reinstall the drivers.

scommander2 started following STT lock on landed airplane?
-
It is a good question. My case is that a moving plane is on the field, and I am able to "lock" it with the sidewinder tone since it is an infrared seeker within the certain range. I need to try for the plan has landed case.
-
I wouldn't think so. How long is "long"?

You can see the throttles that control the engine propeller blades next to the thrust levers. So this is a modernized H version. The J version lacks these throttles, and the blade rotation is controlled by the FADEC.
