  2. Thank you, this is related to the laser cooling? I must be doing something wrong. I am using the guide, for every weapons employment it says to change the laser into "standby". nullDo I have to switch if off after every shot? How can I do that? I already have it set to English cockpit, but it still shows HUD in Russian. null
  3. Here you go.dcs.log It just happened again tonight with a GBU-24. The game crashed this time too. It happens when I bomb a certain spot on the Caucasus map by a bridge. It might be a problem with one of the units that's exploding too. Here's where it's happening if that helps: I'm trying a repair in the DCS updater as a troubleshooting step. I'll try it again tomorrow. Thanks!
  4. Hi, I decided to start upgrading my PC with the monitor. Now I have a 49" Ultrawide monitor on my desk, plus 3 smaller monitors, MFD, for Eufd. Before, it worked fine with a 40" display (not ultrawide)+3 others, (RX3090TI), but now the image is "stretched". I fixed the resolution and made the necessary changes to the Monitor setup. That worked without any problems before. But now the entire monitor config file is no longer visible in DCS. The intention is to upgrade to the 5090 Ti card, but that's not part of this. I know there must be something wrong with file, but i don´t change it lot, just the necessary changes. But how to solve this image stretching, now it is unplayable.
  5. Thank You silverdevil, I used your file with no modification and with also just the MFD line and he result was still about the same. Not as clear as it use to be or as good as the tutorials from the ED guys. It is manageable but I miss how it was before the August update.
  6. It does work and that setting should be in your Mission Editor. Either you are looking at the wrong spot or your are on an old DCS version nullYeah I don't know. I should be at the latest version. The mod files are in the directory F:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS_F4E\jester\mods. I've opened the console for jester and can issue commands but other than that I haven't been able to use the mods feature. Even if I enable the generated example mod. I'm using the steam version of DCS could that be a problem? Thanks for the reply! null
  7. I agree that something on the radar is not okay. Been flying a lot of BVR against Mirage 2000s just today, and the lock is lost every single time with zero effort. (I have track files I will upload them later to this post) Tried also switching radar modes when the target goes to a lower aspect, but when switching is tried loses the lock the moment you try to switch, feels like no memory mode is implemented at all making it impossible to switch to the proper radar mode in combat. The vertical mode absulutly does nothing as well, like the above mentioned main post.
  8. That’s exactly what I’m seeing with my WW throttle. The F-18 A2A and A2G buttons light up and turn off respectively on the WW but with the F-16, both buttons are either always lit or always off depending on how I have the WW software set up.
  9. The problem here is context. E. Germany only got their migs right before the wall came down. And lack of trained technicians and lack of spares likely doomed the spo-15 into its reversion state (no spo if radar on) We also have reliable accounts where this wasn't the case in the Balkans as well as former mig 29 pilots claiming it wasn't an issue. Along with a repair manual identifying the problem and how to fix it. So while im sure that account is accurate, its also only valid in one specific use case.
  10. I left the answer here to all the rest of the community: Unfortunatelly there wasnt much progress on the project. Its not dead but on hold for the moment. I hope to have a little more time in the following months.
  11. I know you're aiming for historical accuracy With anytime baby but i suggest just for once a mission on Razgriz squadron It could be a recreation of mission 23 Where you fight off yuktobanian fighter and the Belkan ofnir squadron
  12. Me too. That would be great.
  13. Hopefully some Rhino users can help you out. The MS SW FFB2 doesn't use telemetry, only what DCS feeds it, so it's much simpler. Let's pretend you're not using telemetry for a second. The answer is yes. By default DCS is incorrectly programmed, at least for the MS. The FFB axis are swapped. Meaning X is Y. It has nothing to do with other axis. So, if I don't swap. When I trim the stick will go left or right. Instead of back and forth. Seems Mag3 got it partially right. Except that Y is reversed. That means I just go into the FFB tune, (button) for the MS in the Controls Settings, and I check invert for the Y axis, and I'm done. But it seems all FFB devices behave differently, so hopefully, like I wrote above. Someone with a Rhino can help you out. @Hiob Maybe? Cheers!

  15. @MikeNolan Dan any updates on our quite Navy Girl (A-7)? Hoping to get some teasers or something soon. I know you gents are probably busy wrapping up the B-17 for MSFS, but we are all fired up to hear some more about your DCS child.
  16. Six maps had updates. What do you expect? Uninstall some of the maps, perform a full repair. Update. Then install the maps one by one. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  17. @Polychop Simulations Team, I knew there was some drama I care to know nothing about at the start of the new year, and I also am well aware it did not involve ED. Not here to ask about that. I also saw the post for hiring new help and that the Gazelle and Kiowa would be maintained. It has been real quite since then with no real updates that I have heard of. Forgive me if I am incorrect in making that statement. I did my due diligence and searched for about an hour with no luck. Can you comment on the status of Polychop and where the company stands? Not looking for drama, just reassurance we still have a top-notch helo Dev in the sim. If not, it would be nice to maybe hear where or what the plans are going forward. Heres to hoping everything is good to go. Still love the Gazelle and Kiowa. I was just flying both last night. @BIGNEWY @Wags @Nick Grey @NineLine ED Team, not sure if you can comment either. Just curious if there has been something the community or myself might have missed. Thanks gents.
  18. Could I trouble you to elaborate on this a little bit? Trying to understand if it’s possible in my Rhino / VP telemetry software. Just to be clear, there’s a way to reverse axis for just the FFB trim? So that nose-up trim properly backs the stick into your lap? And it doesn’t affect any other axis functionality (like which direction you actually *push* the stick for nose-up, nose down?
  19. Latest update 220GB free on data drive not enough space Uhhmmm.. ED. Respectfully, your updates are getting excessively large. After downloading, the updater quites with 'Insufficent space' error.
  20. There are two things that I check in the mission editor for the GPS to work. First (as you mentioned), change the date, make sure that it is a year that would allow GPS. Early 80s on the cold war Germany map, for instance, will not. Second in mission options, you can check an option to allow unrestricted satellite yadi yada.
  21. here's another go in the instant access scenario, to get a shorter track. first 2 attempts are at 100% stick gain/power, then 0%, then 50% Edit: oh and I only touch the stick to neutralize trim, I don't touch it while afcs calibrates itself mig-29 AFCS problems.trk
  22. Thank you both for the information.
  23. Dear all, I looked at this and ran a quick flight test. I was able to takeoff, land at a different airbase, completely shut down, and then start up again with proper HSI alignment. I hope the attached track may help. However, in the process, there does seem to be an issue with the FCS test. We are investing. 29-FCS-Re-Test-1.trk
  24. Nah, that just switches between windows. The keybind for TM is LCtrl+LShft+Esc. While that might not work inside DCS, and defo not if SRS is installed, as that has the same default hot key, for some reason. [emoji2373] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  25. Around 1987 for PVO Su-27s is when R-27ER was first seen in service
