  1. Past hour
  2. The target coords are still in sector 39R on the the target list even tho they are actually in 40R.
  3. Thanks for the update, looking forward.
  4. Im getting the same with this mission, did manual start but the Hummer just sits there and doesn't move and I'm feeling self conscious as the ground crew just stands around me in a circle silently judging me. I didn't do the Fire Test A or B and didn't do the FCS Bit but thats no excuse for giving me the silent treatment guys, I'm trying my best.
  5. Nice, I don't have any photos of the winter time, but yeah as said it just dusted the mountains while in the valley floor it was just rainy and the like. I remember seeing a lot of snow but that was from the Blackhawk taking us from Jbad to Bagram, and then went home for my leave.
  6. Firebase Wilderness (Forward Operating Base Tellier) Comes under a large Taliban attack. And two Apaches are sent to help out. This is my most edit heavy video so far, 7 hours (1 hour in vr and 7 track file recordings) Edited down to 50 minutes, with 2 large somewhat complex montages. Too bad I’m such an amateur in the Apache.. I’ve found that thanks to the latest optimisations in DCS, I can turn off Eye tracking and foveated rendering in smaller missions in DCS without turning down graphics settings or getting any noticeable loss in performance. Which is nice, as even though I don’t notice it when playing, the lower resolution outside the foveated window is noticeable when watching on video

  8. The dream is to decouple the HMD from the "view". With a triple screen setup, you'd want your head tracker to move only the HMD, while leaving the view static. This would be an emulation of how a real HMD would work.
  9. 1) what is CCD ? cores ? 2) not overclocked, water cooling 3) is in the BIOS ? how to do it ? 4) ive tryed that, can try again *X3D Turbo Mode is enabled
  10. That looks really great! How did you achieve the white lettering? Are there two different filaments, or was it laser-etched?
  11. Okay... All of this I agree with, but I'm not sure what this has to do with anything I've said here.
  12. That explains everything Good to hear that Shrike behavior in game reflects the reality so closely lol!
  13. I didn't , I wrote that I HOPE for it
  14. Петрович на ми24 пускает ракеты слева направо, что приводит к перевесу на пилонах вправо. Научите его стрелять по очереди левыми и правыми птурами. Ии так умеет
  15. Today
  16. All I have there is WingWing line and Tacview. Tried to set WW in the end of the list it but it still does not sync AA AG lights Probably will contact WW support later, thanks for the help!
  17. Hey @Gun Jam I was also a victim of the whole Somnium VR1 'experience' lol Pretty much same thing as you. Paid for that piece of junk months in advance, kept getting delivery estimations stalled due to the 'supposedly incredible quality control', and then when I finally received that thing I couldn't believe how spectacularly terrible it was. To get things tarted, the face gasket felt exactly how you described, like the edges of a hard-cover book pressing on my face. The visuals definitely felt completely wrong, headache inducing. Not terrible enough to maybe give you an impression that there was any manufacturing defect, but bad in a way that nothing seemed remotely close to the any decent clarity while being genuinely incredibly uncomfortable to look at. Yes, true there were plenty of things to adjust, but heaven knows I spent a good deal of time trying all possible things, for a long time and that headset was JUST PAIN, plain and simple. And to add insult to injury, the 'least bad' wearing position for me with the best sweet spot meant that its very narrow nose opening under the headset would literally completely close my nostrils - rendering me completely unable to breathe through my nose. Oh, and don't even get me started on eye tracking... very important feature, oversold by their CEO even mocking Pimax, and turned out it was so bad, inaccurate and unstable that it was downright useless in every regard. At the very least I'm in the EU so I could request to return it. I did my deeds, returned it within the 14 day trial period, and yet their support team (repeatedly claimed by the owner to be great, responsive, true to 'more expensive but better EU service standards') was less than responsive to say the least, and not just with me. I spoke to at least 3 other members who were struggling for a long time to actually get their money back. Eventually I did (after they got enough complains from us and even some threats to resorting to contacting credit cards and banks) , but it was one unsettling experience dealing with that company. Somnium's lies about production and delivery dates, constant stalling, broken promises (even today they still don't have local dimming), poor product design, appalling buggy and unfinished software, steep price and all wrapped up by bragging how great their made in EU product and services were and how amazing their quality to control was, makes Pimax look like an angel. With that rant out of the way.... your feedback about the Super seems encouraging. I also placed an order but for the Ultrawide, which will probably be delivered around end of year or next year. However, what concerns me is what you said about the FOV. I have an OG Crystal and I'm very happy with its clarity already, so what I really need it just more FOV. It supposedly should have even better FOV than the Somnium VR1, and yet in your case it doesn't? Did you measure how many degrees you got with the VR1? Also, could you measure how much you're getting with the Super? With the OG Crystal I get 104 HFOV and the VR1 around 115 HFOV, both with corrective lens inserts. In case the HFOV turns out being nothing to write home about, I'll definitely just keep my OG. Got it dialed in and working fine (though it took 2 RMAs with replacement units. First had dead pixels and second broken IPD adjuster. 3rd is flawless).
  18. I only just discovered this yesterday while watching a large tank battle I'd set up. A tank gets destroyed and the rest in the column just drive right through it. Two opposing enemy columns pass each other on a bridge going opposite directions while fighting ... and pass right through each other. I realize this is a flight sim, but seriously. WTAF. I don't wanna hear "it's too hard" because simulations -- including flight sims -- have been able to deal with this fine for decades. This behavior destroys legit common tactics. Something I learned from Jane's AH-64D Longbow was to first take out the lead and rear vehicles in an advancing column. This traps the rest of the vehicles between them and they become easy to pick off. Not with THIS vehicle behavior. Taking out vehicles on a bridge or intersection to clog it up. Not with this behavior. The deeper I learn about some things in DCS the more disappointed and frustrated I get. Over a decade in development and THIS is still the vehicle behavior? How many more years will it take to correct this? This seriously destroys tactically using weapons in many circumstances. I can't believe it's like this, I was stunned to a gaping mouth when I saw it happening. Very disappointed.

  19. when you say it's maxed out ... at 100% what exactly do you mean ... a single core might be maxed out, but you wont be using all the cores at 100% that's just not the way DCS works on something like 9950X3d but functionally no there is not a better CPU on the market... but several things come to mind... 1) are you sure that DCS is actually using the correct CCD, the 9950x3d has two CCD's only one of which has the improved ram cache 2) are you overclocked, what's your cooling solution/temp 3) have you disabled core parking 4) have you submitted your dcs.log to the bot on ED's Discord channel, it normally is quite good at diagnosing problems
  20. Same here Eric...Bagram was mostly just wet with the mountains of the bowl it was in having snow on the caps around it. Salerno didn't have any snow and was actually a nice winter when on that deployment.
  21. Hi guys, I have used OptiScaler v0.7.8 as a workaround meanwhile on latest AMD drivers, now running DCS on forced FSR4 through this app, and this gives me proper anti-aliasing, and no issues with HUD jagging and disappearing pixels and also sharp MFDs. I have just switched from NVIDIA to AMD card and noticed that too, so annyoing. My current driver is 25.8.1 -> bug reported to AMD.
  22. Umm....Yeah, that did it. Why the hell didn't I think of that? Thanks man, that was perfect.
  23. There is no aircraft with similar vibes like the ones abandoned by Razbam. Especially the Harrier feels unique. Sometimes you need to accept the grim reality.
  24. Running a 9950X3D with a 5090, and the CPU is maxed out at 100%. I also have several screens connected. Is there a better CPU on the market? Would switching to a server type CPU help?
  25. With 2.6.3b, using the mission_settings_load_from = "savedgamesfolder", the airboss_enable = false is not applied, this often leads to a dcs crash (dcs LOG Through The Inferno (Georgian Coast) v2.6.3b.txt) , the only way to disable airboss script is set it to false in both TTI SP Mission Settings folder and ME settings. 263b_airboss.zip
