My DCS installation is suffering from massive stutters coming from CPU and I can't pinpoint the issue ... any recommendations appreciated! Situation PC is an AMD Ryzen 7600 X3D with 96GB RAM and GeForce 5080 PC is literally used only for DCS, ultra-fresh Win11 installation, DCS + plugins, few tools (Notepad++) nothing else My DCS setup is moderately complex with following plugins used: SimAppPro and full Winwing MIP DCS-BIOS for my simpit panels TrackIR In multiplayer, SRS Problem Description Many micro stutters and massive stutters in MP, especially when close to other objects (e.g. cold and dark on a carrier. ) See Logfiles attached and video here: What I tried to solve the problem Tried to solve the problem on multiple levels: BIOS, Windows, DCS. В мануале было. Да и на ГСном с ПТБ они не выходили. У меня с ПТБ не выходят, сбрасываю ПТБ - вполне.

Not sure if I understand correctly your questions. Let see how I proceed to create my flight DTC: first with the "POINT" tab I create points which will be "WAYPOINTS", "AIRDROMES" and "RSBN". Then I follow the tab order so The first 3 "POINTS" will be "WAYPOINTS", the next 3 "POINTS" will be "AIRDROME" and the last 3 "POINTS" "RSBN". After that "ROUTE" will be : WPT1(POINT1), WPT2(POINT2), WPT3POINT"), ARD1(POINT4). As far as I understand the navigation panel of the MIG29 can only accept 3 WPT , 3 A/D and 3 RSBN. Do I answer your question? At least I can create a flight like that

Я всегда с ПТБ летаю, скорость разная, 500-700 по прибору.

Ракета полуактивная, а значит подсвет цели носителем никто не отменял. Это всего лишь означает, что ракета с 30 км начинает сама обрабатывать отраженный от цели сигнал и корректировать свою траекторию. А маневры уклонения можно с самого начала строить, главное не срывать захват. А если срыв захвата произошел, то и цель подсвечиваться перестала, и гсн уже ничего не скорректрует.

Can't get it to work either. I can not tell yet, what it is, but I can confirm, the a_set_carrier_illumination_mode() does nothing when being run per script on the dedicated server. No error also, but no effect on the client. Looks like as if it is a desync, but if you use a trigger like the OP stated, it works.

As TFS and I said earlier, with the Quest 3 and its pass-through technology, you can see the WinWing hardware via the headset's cameras and carry on using it. Then use the built-in hand tracking of the Quest 3 and Slugmouse for all the other switches that you haven't got a physical device for.

Hi Thank you both for your time and input. there is a lot to consider here for me as you can see that waving goodbye to the hardware of 8 months ago is for me a big deal but if its worthwhile long-term then maybe thats where I am heading

You also get used to the diamond, and while it's not correct currently in showing vertical gimbal offset, it is useful enough most of the time to help get eyes on target, and pretty helpful for cranking.

I have RSBM on the map, but I control them using the chanells knob and manual selection. So in DTC, the first three positions will always be saved as three beacon presets (buttons 1-3) but not from the fourth onwards (4th and more). Do I understand correctly?

Удерживаю кнопку. Шасси убраны. Закрылки - пробовал и так и так. Двигатели работают, информатор "экран" работает, табло "отказ" на нем не горит, значит и с гидросистемами должно быть все в норме. Во всяком случае в игре. Кнопка назначена. Сначала все работало, после последнего обновления перестало. О как. А где об этом написано, что с ПТБ щитки не выпускаются?

Un amico con una 4070 e i9 con pimax light, fa 35 fps. Non spendere soldi e poi devi volare a 35 fps. Io ho tenuto il pico4, passato a una 5070ti dalla 4070, ma gioco a 75 fps fissi, limite impostato da me, su dettaglio alto e credimi la fluidità vale più della definizione. Adesso mi godo veramente dcs in vr. Potrei passare al crystal ma il pensiero di dover ridurre il dettaglio e gli fps mi fa desistere. Oltre alle troppe impostazioni del software. Quel processore va benissimo, prima di passare al 9800x3d avevo quello e con una 5070ti volavo una meraviglia.

I use the Quest 3, with virtual desktop, this allows the passthrough mode to see my real world around me. The clarity is the capable of being the same as some other super expensive headsets, I've tested them. You have an option for opacity/ transparency of the passthrough in virtual desktop. I use it at around 45% and I can see my keyboard and type with certainty and my streamdeck and other buttons. I only use the hand cutout mode, you can draw a box around whatever you'd like and it stays cutout, but for me I use the handcut, which places a generous passthrough circle around your hands at all times, so when I reach my hand in front of me to my keyboard, that area is 45% transparent to the world around me and I can still see 65% of dcs, this is adjustable from 0%-100%. It's the answer and future for VR gaming. I then us HTCC for the hand tracking and the slugmouse as my mouse clicker. This combo has ruined me so I can only ever buy another headset that has these features. If the new pimax dream lives up to their promises, this is the next move.

You should consult the HTCC website (Home | HTCC). It says the Varjo Aero is not compatible as it doesn't have hand tracking hardware. You would need to add an UltraLeap Motion Controller. I have no idea what "Lighthouse" is.

You are 100% correct. Every day is harder and harder to create missions. Every new plane has more and more tabs to configure, many new "features" complicate that even further (DTC, VOIP, etc) and there is not a single improvement on tools to help the content creators. Starting from Mission Editor (2025 still no undo), to how you configure weather (fog is a mess), to replays, broken/unfinished VOIP, DTC, etc..... I am afraid the will launch DC so unfinished that it won't serve it's purpose. DCS planes are beautiful but this company have forsaken its main value, the community. It's hard to see how would they reverse this, specially after latest leaks.

Ха... судя по документу Р-27 в DCS вообще работает не так как она спроектирована! Т.е. на первом этапе полётом ракеты можно управлять с носителя, а на втором этапе цель в захвате можно не держать и срыв захвата РЛС носителя с цели не должен влиять на отработку задачи самой ракеты. Автономно РГС уже работает с 30 км! а это уже позволяет делать манёвр уклонения от встречной атаки.

That would leave the choice of VR units to either V3 or Varjo aero which I am not sure works with your set up re finger tracking HTCC and something called Lighthouse ? is this all compatible do you know ? Sorry for probably naive questions but I am new to VR

That "Open DTC" button on the mission briefing screen is a really useful addition. It makes loading and managing data much smoother before jumping into the mission.
