I have the OG Crystal and the Crystal Super. The Super wins clearly over the OG in FOV - and all other aspects as well. A clear upgrade. I am very happy with mine.

Those controls are not really related to SimAppPro. Windows sees them as buttons on a device, so they'll work properly even without SimAppPro installed, let alone running. You only need SimAppPro running for syncing lights and or running any UFC or ICP info. Somewhere your SimAppPro isn't communicating with DCS. Might be an antivirus or firewall blocking the communication.

i had the same pb and it evolved to the point of having bsod everytime i tried to launch dcs i see u have an i9 as well After days of research, reseting windows and many other unpleasant things, my problem weren t solved so i found on reddit on another subject that some ppl experienced bsod and were not able to install apps lately possibly due to recent maj and the guy said that to install Nvidia app (which i wasn t able to install anymore) i had to downclock his core from 57X to 54X (via intel extrm tuning utility) And now what: dcs launch only on my comp set to 54X and when set to 57x nothing s happening when clicking on dcs.exe (MT or non MT) Hope this help

Yes. The TM only send a signal when clicking one direction. In some cases there is an "2 pos switch" in the description usually with <> between the positions and under category "special for Joystick" which will do what you want. For a lot of bindings this option doesn't exist, and years ago you had to edit lua files to overcome this limitation. Now you just need to use the "ON' and "OFF" bindings for the switch. Use the actual ON click for the ON binding and for the OFF binding double click on that and use the dropdown in the KEY/BUTTON box and select the OFF version for the button (i.e. use button 10 for on, then "button 10 off" from the dropdown for the off binding). This is primarily a limitation of the TM hardware these days. Most others will send a signal in both the "ON" and "OFF" (and middle if they have that) states.

However, this does not contradict the fact that Shrike-45 could see Sidelobe. It is and has always required precise planning, but in DCS, even if your planning and firing is close to 100% perfect, the Shrike-45 misses because no SL is simulated when it comes to this aspect.

Based on posts here previously, yes. Orbx devs in production as well can be the case especially how they specialize in meshes, but the core team is from the South Atlantic map. Same "characteristics" are found in both products. If Orbx themselves have absorbed the team into their inhouse production, it has not been made public. I won't believe the store pages because publishers usually, 99% of the time, writes marketing and information as if they did the product themselves. Same happened with Razbam's South Atlantic. (which were not RB's work) I can be wrong, and if I am, I want to know the truth about this. I want to be corrected, which at least is something. It just seem wrong letting people pre judge the map based on Orbx work in MSFS as it doesn't look like Orbx's trademark work. I dislike the publishing marketing methods. Merit should go to the hands at work on these things, even if goes in the title "Orbx presents Kola map, by ______".

Hello everyone. I am learning DCS and I have encountered a problem, SimHaptic does not see DCS... Il-2 sees it, but DCS does not see it... Please tell me, maybe someone has already encountered such a problem, how to solve it?

I dropped wind speed on the Mariana WW2 map down to 4 knots and was able to taxi fine on land. Have not moved wind speed up in increments to see if there is a "Not gonna happen" wind speed other than the 10 knts. Ran into the same issue using the Nevada map, no turn into or away from the wind at 10 knts. seabat

You’re only using a quarter of your CPU. And why on Earth would you use 2 graphics cards, and dissimilar ones at that? For DCS that is no longer needed, and may in fact reduce performance if you set it up wrong.

CCD 0 is the "preferred" die for high-frequency performance, boasting a higher Fmax of 5.75 GHz compared to CCD 1's 5.45 GHz. How to Assign Cores Use Task Manager: Open Task Manager and go to the "Details" tab. Right-click on the process you want to optimize and select "Set affinity". In the dialog box, you can manually select which cores the process will use. To prioritize CCD 0, you would select the first 8 cores. As speed of heat noticed, somehow you are missing half your cores. Disabled in bios? If not, update your bios. 3)To adjust CPU core parking, you can use third-party utilities like ParkControl by Bitsum or Quick CPU by Coderbag. that's very strange... for a number of reasons, the 9950x3d has 16 cores you only have 8 turned on , and you don't have hyperthreading enabled so there should be another 16 virtual cores ... i'm not sure why you have two GPU's either ... and additionally whats your cpu usage when DCS is not running ? because that is really really odd... you say you are not OC'd but you are running at 5.39 which feels like you have set a PBO ... honestly i'm not even sure where to start

I cannot seem to get close enough to take out the HQS before it nails me. Any tactical hints? Do I need to fly very high like George(Saleh) tells me to?

The target coords are still in sector 39R on the the target list even tho they are actually in 40R.
