I would be happy with just a small improvement of the "sticky note page divider thingy" .... to have DCS memorize my KB dividers on a "per aircraft" basis, from one DCS session onto the next.

What capabilities should we expect from the F-104?
fausete replied to Hatman335's topic in DCS: F-104
Hi, it's actually being based on a German F-104 G Consortium. -
Control over the failures for the F16 is not implemented yet in that tab. Not a bug, just a feature to yet be created.

My Grandads aircraft taking on fuel. Experimental days. That one’s still submerged in Norway. Can we have both please

I am linking to the part where they turn a 4090 24gb into a 4090 48gb. I think I read that they got the funding for the movie that they want to do. Wonder if team green mgmnt is even aware or cares? And finally, if a shop like this can add that vram to a 4090, why do we have to pay such premiums?(Sarcasm)

From reviews on different sites and some YouTube ones I've heard both ways. Kind of why I'm waiting until fall/winter to pull the trigger to see if it's just a QA issue with first run headsets. It's the Pimax way. I'm familiar with Quadviews, I run it on the QPro add it had eye tracking as well. I've seen mixed reviews on edge to edge clarity of the lens itself. Meta has some of the best lenses out there.
-
They are concave mirrors, but to which degree, I don't know. The programmers adjusted the values to give the best rear viewing possible. As seen in my screenshots

Can we please get something new that's not the same thing we have had for years. KC-10(Highly requested many times), KC-46, A330 MRTTs(MPRS style and used by many countries), YY-20. I'm sure others will chime in with other aircraft. Aerial Refueling has been crucial in aviation for decades, lets add some flavor for the community. Instead of the same thing over and over again.

I personally don't know how to add static objects to the hangar deck, but it is there.

MFD exported viewport brightness & contrast - critical on TGP
rob10 replied to ZACHI's topic in Bugs and Problems
They are aware of the issue and have said that there is no easy fix for it, so I wouldn't expect in the near future. I do have hope that some day out of the blue they will figure out a solution and drop it. - Today

The edge to edge clarity on the Crystal Super is excellent! I have not heard that it is not good before! That argument against the Super is surprising to me. The lenses are very, very good. «Blurry outside the center of the lense» ?? Nope! Not at all. The negative things I’ve heard about the Super is that some have had tracking issues, and from the first batch of headsets some mura from the panels. I have not experienced any of this myself. But, I only do «sit down» experiences with my Super, flying or car games, so I don’t move around in my room. So no tracking problems for me. If I was to move around in my room I would prefer a WiFi connected headset like my Quest 3 anyway.

It fixed it. Since i did so many full repairs of DCS, i figure that the problem was within Windows itself. Just moved everything else except windows and DCS to another drive, and in a couple of hours i set up my pc once again. It's not a long lasting solution tho, since i had the same issue before, and fixed it in the same way. I know I'm not that helpful, but that practically means that the issue is not hardware related, since no components have been changed and it works perfectly now. Tell me if it works for you guys aswell, and, if you manage to find a better solution.

gdx65 started following TrackIR disconnected/connected message

HI, II fly VR (Oculus 3), do not use TrackIR right now, I have also uninstalled the SW. But sometimes I use TrackHat which I have also unplugged it for troubleshooting purposes. While flying now and then (but rather often) I get "TrackIR disconnected" message, then "TrackIR connected". This will always deploy the landing gear of any airplane module. From the dcs.log i can see this event, below (and Attached the dcs.log file). Interesting if anyone has experienced this..... 2025-08-17 21:09:25.816 INFO APP (Main): Device plugged: [HID] HID-compliant device 2025-08-17 21:09:26.886 INFO INPUT (Main): created [TrackIR] 2025-08-17 21:09:27.773 INFO APP (Main): Device unplugged: [HID] HID-compliant device 2025-08-17 21:09:28.794 INFO APP (Main): Device plugged: [HID] HID-compliant device 2025-08-17 21:09:29.928 INFO INPUT (Main): created [TrackIR] 2025-08-17 21:09:32.874 INFO Dispatcher (Main): Stop 2025-08-17 21:09:33.903 INFO TERRAIN (Main): lSystem::CleanScenes() 2025-08-17 21:09:33.903 INFO WORLDGENERAL (Main): TerrainUtility:: updated in parallel: 29385, updated in the main thread: 0 2025-08-17 21:09:33.922 INFO VISUALIZER (4220): Stopped collection of statistic. 2025-08-17 21:01:40.000 ERROR_ONCE (): dcs.log

Anti-radiation missiles (ARMs) can lock on to and hit moving ships, but impacts only have limited effect on the health/hitpoints of the ship. Despite homing on radar emitters, ARM hits will not disable the radar in DCS World as of version 2.9.19.13478, because it lacks a ship damage model. This script adds the necessary event handler to permanently disable the radar of a ship that is hit by an ARM via :enableEmission(false). Works in multiplayer and on the dedicated server. Unfortunately, that will also disable all point-defense systems (CIWS) that should have independent targeting sensors, rendering ships entirely defenseless with the first ARM hit. While this is admittedly crude, IMHO, it's still a step up from DCS vanilla behavior of not modelling ARM hits on ships. Install via the mission editor: Open trigger screen (via menu item "Set rules for triggers") Triggers > New > Type: Mission Start Actions > New > Action: Do Script File > File: Open > ARMsDisableShipRadars.lua F-16 example mission (with debug messages enabled) attached: ARMs_Disable_Ship_Radars.miz Contents of attached ARMsDisableShipRadars.lua for a quick view:

Frankfurt ILS runway 07L-25R issues
grim_reaper68 replied to grim_reaper68's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi I found some issue in the beacon lua file. I checked all glideslope and localiser positions who are correct, but the frequencies are totally mixed as shown in the screen below. In fact, compared to Hannover, there is a mix in the loc and G/S frequencies. I modified the lua file, so I could activate the second runway where I noticed no issue at all. LOC and GS works fine. But the main runway ILS system is still broken. As showed on the screen below, the localiser of the runway 25R-07L doesn't work correctly, and is inverted. Normally, if you are on the right of the runway, the needle should be on the left, in this situation the needle is on the right... it's made with the stock beacons.lua file As you can see, I'm on the right of the runway (light blue line), and the needle shows that I'm on the left. It should be on the left side (as drawed with the darker blue line). Both screen where made at the same position as you can see that I was in active pause while switching the ILS frequencies. Only the zoom in the cockpit is different. in comparision the ILS on runway 25L works fine with corrected frequencies and modification in the beacons.lua file, as shown below. Frequency 111.70 for runway 25L ILS approach, set up in the lua file, green strip for runway 25L, and the localiser needle is on the correct side . Same modification works for Hannover and Hamburg where both runways ILS works fine. So I think the issue comes from the core file that give the Beacons.lua file, because with corrected frequencies, the issue remains. It tried to harmonise the frequencies, but it doesn't work at all. The issue remains. Here a video from the bug on runway 25R, and as told, it's the original beacons lua file. The Loc needle is on the wrong side. And the runway 25L ILS approach with a correct ILS needles indication, as I "activated" the runway 25L-07R in the lua file. I hope you can figure out where the issue come from, as it's the only runway affected. By the way, thanks for your great work. If you want, I can make some screens from other airfields, so You can be sure of the relevance of my words. And maybe other pilots can confirm it too. -
I wasn’t going to buy it. But my character is like a rotten Swiss cheese

The fact there is still no dedicated A-6 intruder section on the forums is kinda worrying.

is it wip that the essex class got a hangar deck to store aircraft in it ?

I had a thought, by the way, that ASC deserves a lot of praise anyway. After all, the model is close to release and will appear this year. And looking at some other studios that also started work in 2021/2022, you could say that ASC is Formula 1, while others haven't even given a single screenshot or video, let alone released. They certainly deserve applause for that, even though you're still in the pre-order period.

discussion Mission 4 - GBU-12 in CCIP (spoiler alert)
MnMailman replied to KENNY1988's topic in F/A-18C Arctic Thunder Campaign
Agreed, so many of the various campaigns have a mission or more this way. Make something completely unrealistic just to (I guess) make it harder and/or more "fun and exciting". Frustrating is more accurate. One of my favorites calls for a laser guided bomb delivery.......................with a dense cloud layer at 10k feet forcing the player below it where they get riddled by shorads and aaa.
