  1. Past hour
  2. CPR is Central Priority Rendering (tick box in the Pimax PLay settings), but it appears it might be making IL2 crash.
  3. Yeah...maybe that's the case. This whole situation is gonna suck. I hold very little hope anyone would think it makes sense to be making FS peripherals here in the US. Besides maybe guys in sheds making them like the guy that does the Rhino FFB stick. As it stands, home-building one of his kits may be the only way to get a decent FFB. I was looking forward to Wingwings offering, but unless Tuesday brings tacos and good news, I doubt it will be worth buying it with tariffs added on to the price.
  4. 1) Set a waypoint/tacan steerpoint 2) Set runway heading 3) Break as normal, pull until you reach desired reciprocal heading while at desired distance from courseline. Use the distance from courseline indicator (it is in the bottom right of the HSI after 1 & 2 have been set. (You may need to add/substract from your desired distance if the tacan station is not directly on the runway) That's it... no fancy methods required.
  5. Pretty sure I’ll purchase, it will be interesting to say the least. Somewhere waaaayy down the line, I would actually like to see a ‘H’ model (UK equivalent being the ‘K’). Good ‘ol’ steam gauge cockpit! Bring it on!
  6. Most likely because when you hold down half action the radar runs automatic gain control, ruining your perfect gain setting and hence the contact dropping. If thats the case, it is intended behavior.
  7. Hey, thanks. This is an already reported bug, the team is looking into it, cheers.
  8. dcs.log-20250802-225526.zip Restatred my PC and attempted to launch as 'Administrator'. Its still a no go.
  9. Since the update I just did, I cannot gte DCS to launch. The splash screen opens. Then I click "Launch DCS". Then nothing. I repeat the issue 6 more times like an insane person. Has anyone else experienced this?
  10. Today
  11. Not hitting target even in the training tutorial
  12. If you made your own mission. Make sure that the radio presets are correct. I have my flight on radio 1 and carrier on radio 2.(I think historically it's home base on 1) but make sure the frequencies match. The Essex ATC is odd. There is a female voice. Waiting doubt would be a thing in WW2. It also seem go give wrong directions. Several degrees off. Maybe it's to place me behind the carrier at a certain distance. But the directions are off by enough degrees. You'd be hard pressed finding the carrier by following those directions.
  13. Now I just have to wait for the launch of the C-130J that I always dreamed of at DCS!
  14. @_Hoss Thanks, I think you pretty much answered my question. I will check out the WW manual again but I couldn‘t find the answer there in the first place. That‘s why my post here….
  15. I've been messing around with CCRP rockets recently and right unfortunately CCRP doesn't work with APKWS. Thinking I was clever I had the idea to manually load it as a standard rocket type but when I do that DSMS shows the station in RED indicating a stores mismatch. So I'm curious how are you loading APKWS as a non-APKWS rocket type without the DSMS error?

  17. Our LITENING appears to be a mix of II and G4 versions, the latter of which has optical zoom. I think the version in DCS was actually supposed to be a G4, but the docs were incomplete.
  18. Keep in mind the zoom on the LITENING pod isn't digital like it should be (like on the ATP), making it unrealistically good. The ATP also has multi-track and an IR pointer.
  19. I hope so. If its that ridiculous brown smudge effect used for the MIG 21 “nukes” or the MOAB in the AC-130 original mod, forget it. I’m not purchasing it.
  20. Hiya. Thanks so much for posting this. My Obutto Revolution seat has also given up the ghost after about a decade. It was never very comfortable to begin with, but I've also banjaxed my shoulder and now it's just painful to sit there. I was looking at the Next Level seat, but couldn't suss out if it would fit the Obutto frame. Now I know. I have a Thrustmaster EVO fitted to the Obutto stick mount. Do you foresee any issues with that, or will I end up making changes here, too? Can you say what size bolts/washers I'll need to fit and where, so I can prepare? Cheers
  21. I understand the technical differences between the pods, tell me which one you actually prefer though Which one do you actually think is better? The zoom is so much nicer on the litening pod, and that actually makes it much more usefull for me for A2A and A2G purposes. There are very few uses of the advanced features of the SNIPer, that are both usable, and necessary, at the lower ranges it can be used for. Tell me a use case that the SNIPer can do, that the LITENING can't, I'm really curious.
  22. Tested a bit more and have another interesting track - first Phoenix was guiding OK for 2min 10s but then stopped while having me in sight just 6nm away. Why? Second Phoenix was guiding only first 20s and then stopped. I don't think I was outside launcher's radar FOV. At 30-40nm range and M3+ I'd expect Phoenix to be lethal vs my sloppy defense, but somehow, they just stop guiding. What is happening here? AIM-54C-stop-guiding.zip.acmi AIM-54C-stop-guiding.trk
  23. Correct. It is a fire and forget weapon. The H is a "digital TV" guided CCD. This is a classic case for uploading a track for people to see what's going on.
  24. I agree! Please keep it going, so nice
